AutoNation Chrysler Jeep Arapahoe 9980 E Arapahoe Rd, Englewood, CO 80112. On 06-03-2023 we bought a 2019 Nissan Rogue from them with a extended warranty. On 06-19-2023 we called about canceling, we were told we had to take off work and go in person to cancel because two people only there until 5:00 would have to sign. BS this was just to try to convince us not to cancel. We spent a week asking the finance manager Johnathan Cole to send us proof of the cancelation. What he sent was his request to cancel then telling us 2 weeks. Spoke to the General Manager Ed Absher explaining what had happened he then told us to call a Chris Jackson stating this was Johnathan's manager. We called this person only to have to leave a message. Called back 30 minutes later and talked to him, he states it would take 6-8 weeks to get the refund. Advised this is financed so We are getting interest charges and we expect them to cover, he made a sound then sad it wont be that much interest dont worry about it buddy. This after getting hung up on 4 times asking for Johnathan Cole. I don't know who regulates this but will find out. It is looking like we will need to contact our legal department to handle this. Avoid this place at all cost.

On December 21, 2019 my husband and I went to the AutoNation Ford dealership in Corpus Christi, TX to cancel the extended warranty we purchased for the 2017 Ford Explorer (VIN #1FM5K8HT3HGA86769) we had traded in for a 2019 Ford Ranger in Nov. 2019. The original purchase date on the extended warranty was Feb. 21, 2019 at the AutoNation in Corpus Christi, TX. The finance gentleman completed the paperwork and told us we should be receiving our refund. Well here we are 4 months later and still no refund. This all happened prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since our initial visit on December 21, we have visited the dealership, called Jeff Calvert, Finance Manager numerous times, emailed him and the General Manager Steven Chapman with no response received. Jeff has told us on numerous occasions that he has spoken to the Warranty company and told our "refund" is in the mail. I don't believe this is the case and feel as we are just getting the run around.

We have purchased many vehicles from AutoNation in Houston and Corpus Christi, but with this type of Customer Service I will not be back anytime soon. I will also advise my friends and family to stay clear along with my company which purchases fleet vehicles.

I don't understand why I paid for an extended warranty in good faith, went in person to cancel and am struggling to receive my refund. When I cancelled my extended warranty with Chevrolet, there was no issue and I had my refund within 2 weeks.

Everything started off great.
I originally purchased a car from Autonation Henderson in Las Vegas Nevada. The car was a 2015 hyundai, during the test drive i was advised that the blind spot sensor was probably not on hence why it didn't work during the test drive. i was also advised that the car had a recall on it, now this recall was not recent, i asked them to fix the recall before i picked up the car but they assured me that this wasnt a big deal and i can take it into hyundai to get it done. i had the car for 3 days, i started to notice the breaks were squeaky, the blind spot was not working even after it was turned on. i took it to hynundai for the recall and was advised that the car needed to have the bumper taken off and inspected, since after 2 hours of diagnostics they couldnt figure out why the blind spot wasnt working. i decited it was best to return the car, i did not feel satisfied in the purchase or safe, know, this is where it all starts. i returned the car before there 5 day/240 miles, no questions asked return policy. i asked about my a refund of the deposit i originally placed when i bought the car which was $1,000, i was advised they didnt know how long but will call, 2 weeks went by and no call, however i continued to receive emails about the car as it was still in my possession. i called autonation henderson and got the run arround from a few agents about my refund, then finally emailed one of the managers advising i would like a status update on my refund and if i didnt have it by the end of the week i would take legal action, all of a sudden within 24 hours my check was ready. The manager, matt apologized and advised it wastn processed in time and etc, i advised it was fine and would go pick up my check. 24 hours after this i get a notification that the loan is not showing on my credit report. i called matt again and advised that i would like this off my record, and its basically fraud since i haven't/dont have the car and this is ridiculous. Matt instead of reassuring me that he would take care of this and it will be handled properly, yelled at me and advised me i was being nasty and i was not speaking to him as a human, and he dishes out what he gets and no one was trying to screw me, mind you the car was purchased end of August, its now September 12. Matt continued to yell at me and actually hung up- he advised i didnt know the policy on buying a car and that it takes time to process canceling the loan. i called the finance company directly, they advised they do not have a check from autonation and can not cancel my loan. Matt advised it takes 10 days to process the check on the finance company side, but again, they arent even aware of it. As it stands i have a financial dept for the returned car- and no reassurance this will fall off my record. How does this sound like a reputable company? how can i rest assured im not being screwed? I do hope that this falls of my record or i will be taking legal action. this is wrong. I work in customer service personally, and never have i heard or been spoken to they way management from automation spoke to me. They are truly unprofessional, oh in addition Matt was upset that i had written a bad yelp review and filled a complaint with the BBB or advised i would take legal action that he hung up on me.. i would not encourage anyone to do business with this company, at least not at this location.

I brought my car in for specific issues, only one of three were resolved. The service advisor was lazy and clearly incompetent. The service provider called to tell me my car was ready, it was not. The service advisor told me my car was washed, it was not. The reason this was important is because I had inquired about a leak in my car. The service advisor specifically said "when they washed my car, they could not locate the leak." Well, you can't find the leak if you DID NOT wash the car. She even lied a second time to claim that my car was dirty because of the surrounding construction (not true). It was obvious it was NOT washed. She lied about the alerts being on as being normal. I asked for the technician and he agreed that the alerts should NOT have been on. He later admitted that he needed to reset the system. Service advisor never admitted or apologized for her mistakes. I left with a dirty car two hours later. In addition to all of this, my personal email AND phone number were incorrect on my invoice. I had to call them to have them both corrected. Disappointed at the negligence and lack of attention at the Autonation Acura Service Stevens Creek facility.
