This company is absolutely useless! They could not care less about helping people - they have become too big - try getting someone to help you - good luck - if the CEO or any other individual within this organization really gives a damn about helping people, they would read some of these comments and understand they have a hugh problem - I've watched a family member go through hell and back just trying to get through the system and they are excellent customers - I wouldn't send any business here if they were the last place on earth - shame on you BOA....shame on you

I HATE this no customer service company! They annoy me so much I paid off my mortgage in full just to get rid of them. Fail B of A and make us all much happier! If you are reading this - DUMP this bank NOW and go to a Credit Union or smaller bank. B of A sucks!

I have also held an account in good standing for 20+ years... now I'm sorry I didn't change to another company. I am disputing a charge, and have found BoA reps to be contentious and unwilling to hear my side of the story- merchant was unable to render services paid for!- and I am getting the BoA run-around.

If you want to get in contact with boa by phone its really very easy, just be late on a morgage payment, they will call you 20 times a day.

I have been a customer with BOA and predecessor MBNA for more than 25 years, and have obviously paid my credit card bills all those years, often $20,000 at a time, always paid in full. My credit limit was usually more than that. Usually a telephone call or a note was all that was needed to set things right when some overzealous low-level employee tried to discipline me for a late payment, or when I needed to limit to be raised to cover a larger amount.

Today, Tony Davis of Pheonix, Arizona, let me know I am denied use of my card for a $25 charge because I have a payment of $15 that is overdue more than 5 days. He was the "higher-up" who was supposed to allow this transaction to go through. He told me he would rather have me cancel my account with you than to let me charge $25.00, with my assurance I would pay both immediately with my online bill-paying account. In fact I just paid off my account in full, as I always do. However, I do not have the convenience of using my BOA card.

Why bother to have a customer service? They only anger customers with their lack of support and inflexibility. You will spend far more than $15.00 to get you next person to sign up and stay with BOA for 25 years, believe me. Pretty short sighted for a company trying to stay in the credit card competition.

I am pretty sure you do not have anybody who reads these messages, much less responds to them substantively. To say I am disappointed with you level of service is an understatement.

In the past I did all my banking through BofA. I will change that. During this housing crisis I have sought help only on an interest rate adjustment on my mortgages. I understand that BofA is not to blame for this collapse in home values. The politicians and their squirrely policies forced banks to make loans to unqualified borrowers.
I own several properties. I have NEVER been late and did not overextend my credit in any way. I am a businessman and I make careful and logical decisions.
When my properties were at 75% loan to value, I was told I have too many mortgages to qualify for any re-fi program. I was told to wait until the Government programs kicked in and then they would be glad to help. When the government programs began I was told that I didn't qualify because I was not delinquent on any mortgages, and none of them separately constituted over 31% of my gross pay. I have been back several times and they always have some excuse. Finally Kevin Helm in Las Vegas, Nevada, told me that they would not consider changing the interest rate on my mortgages because,"We have foreign investors who are expecting a certain level of return on their investments."
That's it. FYYFF BofA.

I know you have to make a profit for your stock holders but this is rediculous.
You go in to take my morgage payment and find it was short my retirement was late that month. So you do not take anything. I can live with that but to not take the next 5 months to run up your profit margin in a little underhanded even for a Bank.
My wife thinking you had taken the money would call your office for a balance in our account because we do not recieve a balance by mail for the last three years. The she would spend the amount given to her. I was going to take over the Banking for the family and set up a account but only lasted a coupel of months and she did not mention the lack of statements.
When I found out there was a problem, I find out she had spent everything in the account including the 6 payments you had not taken from the account. I would like to thank you for the LACK of service. She said she thought you had already got your money out.
I took $10,000 out of my savings account and paid the total $10,400 at a branch. But am not sure you will start the withdrawels again or do I start mailing the amount I do owe you.
You did get me good and I should have keeped a closer look at your underhanded way of running up the bill. I do not even want to know the total "FEES" for this mess.

Long story short. BOA owns a rental property located next door to my father in Rockford, Illinois. The home appears to have become a haven for wayward middle age drug users. Missing some windows, shopping carts and trash in the yard. Stolen signs from a local hospital. And, no running water. They are now using water from my dad's house.

We have notified the police department and the health department. Both of which have recommended that we contact the owner.

Which has led me to this website. It's 4 hours of phone calls now, and I haven't gotten anywhere.

Quick scenerio;

Call 1 - Michael in Customer Service. I explained and he said that there was nothing he could do. Ok, I understand that, and asked him for a number of someone who could help me. He said that there wasn't anyone who could do that. I asked (nicely) for a supervisor and he REFUSED. I asked why and he said because I didn't have an account with BOA. Then he hung up on me. I was stunned.

Call 2 - Valerie. I went through the story again and you will never believe this. She hung up on me!

Call 3 - Phone rang. Unintelligble answer and disconnected.

Call 4 - Samantha Watkins. Lovely woman who after listening to the request told me that she wasn't able to help me, but would connect me with someone who could. She stayed on the line while she called the Property Claims Dept. Guess what? We got disconnected 3 times. Then after all of that we were disconnected.

Call 5 - I called the number and asked for Samantha Watkins and was told she didn't work there.

Amazing. So very frustrated and disappointed at this point. They have some big problems. If they can't answer a phone and direct to the proper dept, how can they be trusted to manage your financial life.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
