FANTASTIC! After punchingin a few numbers, I got a delightful young lady to answered my questions and took action on the case I had called about. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found their phone number!

HORRIBLE! After waiting for 2 1/2 hours to chat with someone on their "live chat" sessions, I finally was told that I would be given a refund in the amount of $160.20. I waited and waited and it finally showed up on my account page. Problem was, they never refunded it back to my credit card. After a few emails, someone from ebay confirmed the amount of refund I was owed. On my account page, they only showed 99.15 as a refund and -61.05 under the payment category...uh, hello, when the - is in front of the number that means a credit. When I called and spoke to a supervisor, after much arguing, he unwillingly confirmed the amount of my refund. Problem now is they only refunded me 99.15....so they are screwing me out of the other 61.05. I re-emailed them with the proof that they promised me 160.20 and they have NOT responded and on my account page on ebay conveniently says "account balance temporarily unavailable". I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH EBAY AGAIN...THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!
I made a purchase on ebay and paid via paypal. Ebay e-mailed me that the transaction was cancelled by them and gave the indication that the seller's listing was fraudulent. They never reversed the paypal transaction. A few weeks later item arrived which I never expected since the ebay had cancelled the transaction. I contacted ebay and they had me on hold a long time only to refer me to paypal. They said paypal is familiar with this type of situation and would handle the refund. I filed the claim. Paypal wants me to ship the item back with tracking. Annoying and inconvenient but I understand. Horrible customer service at paypal for this situation and they suggested I call ebay back if I am unhappy with the resolution. I am now out almost an hour in phone calls, need to take a trip to UPS and need to pay for the shipping on an item that ebay cancelled and the seller is no longer a registered user for.

IF ANY OF YOU KNEW ANY BETTER, THEN YOU WOULD KNOW THAT PAYPAL WILL COVER YOU FOR 45 DAYS FROM WHEN YOU PAID FOR THE ITEM. IF ANY OF YOU ARE CRAZY ENOUGH TO GO PAST THAT THEN THATS NOT EBAYS PROBLEM ITS YOURS. AND JUST TO ADD I HOPE YOURE AWARE THAT EBAY DOESNT ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS AND CHECKS AND WIRE TRANSFERS. WHY YOU ASK? ASK YOURSELF WHAT KIND OF PROTECTION THOSE PAYMENT METHODS OFFER. ANSWER? NONE. YOU MIGHT THINK THAT EBAYS ONLY AFTER YOUR MONEY ASKING YOU TO GO THROUGH PAYPAL. WELL LOOK FOR SOME OTHER PAYMENT METHOD THEN. USE YOUR CREDIT CARD.

Again, yes they talk to you, but they have no authority to go against any of eBay's pro-scammer policies.

worst customer service and computer connections than any other company i have done business with! maybe they think because they are so big they don't have to make improvements!!! well if they don't they will lose me as a customer and i hope thousands of others!!! THE REPS WERE RUDE AND HONESTLY STUPID!! IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR AND 2 REPS A ND A SUPERVISOR TO GET THINGS STRAIGHTENED OUT AND AS I TYPE THIS I'M STILL NOT SURE IT HAS BEEN WORKED OUT!!!!!!!

though i have now been a victim of two fraudulent e-bay "buyers" and am really annoyed that e-bay doesn't have a system to at least attempt to weed these people out...this number did work and i spoke to a person right away. she couldn't help much but at least i spoke to someone, i guess that was nice. e-bay really is a horrible company, i've wasted a ton of time on fraud. you would think a well established company like this would be more helpful.

I sent a money order to a seller on eBay
the seller accepted a best offer
the money order was signed and cashed at
a bank 8 days later at a bank

eBay did NOTHING
they sent scripted messages
nothing so when you send money on eBay it
does not matter what format either paypal
or whatever your taking a chance
the only way you get your item is if the seller
is honest enough if not forget it
eBay just wants fees
I still can't believe what a rippoff eBay is

A class action suit against ebay should be filed. I have sold approximately 17 items on ebay at auction. Nothing more than 30 dollars. After 14 items were sold I became upset with ebay because I paid 500.00 to debscustomwebs.com for a web design as she stated she was a certified ebay web designer. She did nothing. After months of trying to get the design I called ebay. They said there was nothing they could do as it was over 45 days. How did I know how long a web design would take. I stopped selling at auction. Then about 2 weeks ago I met an artisan from Lima Peru. He is young married man with child to support and I have given him money to help. I told him I could advertise his jewelry on ebay and sell for him. We entered a partnership. I have sold 3 items of his for a maximum of 26.00 which includes shipping and insurance from Lima, Peru. Ebay suspended my account. I have spent 3 days trying to find out why and no one seems to know. They say I must respond to the suspension but no one knows why I was suspended. How do I answer a question when no one knows the question. This is absurd. Ebay should be sued through class action. I will spearhead the effort contact me at turfrico@cs.com and I'll get everyone's address and complaint and contact my attorney. Thanks
