On 2/1/10 at around 5pm, I made a quick stop at Walmart to make my car key that was broken. This is the WALMART on 75th (DARIEN near Chicago) ILLINOIS.
The man at the counter was going to assist after explaining the problem to him but wanted to verify some details from another lady. The lady started to yell that the guy should not make the key since it contains some chips. Good idea that she might be passing a message across but I think if customers are treated in that manner, nobody will return to such a place for anything. I got my key done at another reputable store but I was highly disappointed and sad at the way she was shouting. No one needs to be treated like that. People who who not have control over their emotions need not deal with the public.

I visited your East Palmdale Wal-Mart location yesterday evening (2.1.10) around 5pm. While waiting approx 30 mins at check out to pay for my items, I witnessed several verbal and physical employee altercations. One situation occurred in the Pharmacy dept. involving two female employees engrossed in a yelling frenzy, which escalated into a physical boxing and hair pulling match. The other situation involved 5 teenage kids of a female employee who earlier was removed from the property for verbally attacking a fellow female employee. While the fellow employee was working checkout, the kids entered Wal-Mart & brutally attacked her; kicking and beating her to the floor. For children and families to witness such behavior is extremely unsettling, and conveys an unsafe environment for your customers. This is not the first time I have experienced such lude behavior at this location. I have chosen to take my business to Target in East Palmdale. It is 5 minutes away from your Wal-Mart location, and the items are a few dollars more. However, being in a more civilized environment is well worth the added cost.

I have also sent a copy of my complaint to Consumer Affairs and Better Business Bureau.

Angry & Frustrated 2/2/10 12:02PM

I have been in two different Walmarts in the past couple of months...One in Rock HIll South Carolina and one in Winnsboro S.C..
I have been asked by two cashiers to inform the person that comes in line behind me that her line is closed so she can take a break...
In Rock Hill S.C. I told a few customers that the line I was standing in was closed and all I got was grief from a bunch of idiots and after about the 4th derogatry remark I realized I don't work for Walmart and don't have to tell another customer anything...
It seems they would have a better system and not ask customers to do their job for them.
IN Winnsboro S.C. I simply explained what happened to me in Rock Hill S.C. and I she would need to take care of it herself...She didn't like my response, but I don't work for Walmart and they shouldn't expect a customer to do their job for them.

This number worked like a charm! It's soo frustrating that you cannot get a phone number anywhere on walmart online! They really don't care about their customers at all and that's why I normally don't shop there but I gave them a chance and they just reminded why I hate that store so much. Thanks for the number and DOWN WITH WALMART!

I visit your store at least twice weekly. Before Wal Mart opended a SuperCenter in Morgantown, WV, I thought it was exactly what we needed. I had shopped at other SuperCenters and found the prices to be less than National Chain grocery stores.
However, since our Super Centers have opended in Morgantown, I must say I am disappointed. The lack of customer service, the lack of personal attention to customers, the lack of caring by check-out cashiers is sad. They do not care if you are overcharges, they do not care if the item you want is not available, they do not care if they give you all of the groceries you purchased or not. I could go on and on but overall, I feel that WalMart does not care about its customers. Without customer service, what do you have?

The prices may be slightly better than other grocerty stores - however, the more I shop WalMart, the more disappointed I become and don't care if I return to the store or not. It becomes very frustrating to your customers to feel they are not important enough to get the advertised price. If Walmart would give you the items free that they overchaged you for, I would love them. I would not mind waiting in the Customer Service area for up to 1/2 hour - if I am overcharged by less than $5, I just forget. I get mad but don't have the time to wait for Customer service to take care of you and make the correction to the products.

I was in your store yesterday and several items were out of stock. One time when I shopped there, believe it not, I could find a 12-pack of Coca Cola - that is pretty bad.

If I am lucky enough to be to talk to an associate on the floor, they could care less if the product is on the shelf.

Over time since Walmart seems to grow and grow, I have seen a decrease in their customer service.

This may not seem like much to you, but it is to your customers. I hear more and more people say, they hate Walmart.

Thanks for listening.

worked GREAT byt they try and throw you off by telling you about their online website. Just be patient and follow the prompts and there is a human there.

This number is valid and very helpful. Walmart does not include any customer service numbers on its site to discourage callers. Nonetheless, this site is very accurate. Highly recommend and will use again.

I shopped at Walmart Store #2035 in Greenville, OH the other day and spent nearly $100. I was looking at my account activity at my banks website today and noticed that there was a double charge on my purchase. The charge was however credited back to my account, but then was charged back to my acount yet again. I called my bank and they told me to talk to customer service at the store. I took my receipt as well as a printout of my account activity from my online bank account access. All the CS rep. was able to tell me was that they were sorry but that it could take as long as 30 days to correct the problem. The CS rep. also told me that they would need to see my next checking account statement to verify the charges. My statement comes out in mid January. I use a strict budget and have a major bill (almost $700) due within a week and need that money to pay it. I really don't have the time to wait until the middle of next month and it's obvious Walmart doesn't really care.

I received a Visa Walmart money card as a Christmas gift last year. It expires in Jan, 2010. I did not receive the receipt and therefore do not have the activation number. I have tried unsuccessfully to activate this thing by phone and online. I cannot. Therefore, the group of kind hearted soles who gave me this card as a gift wasted $100. Thank you Walmart, I will not shop in any of your stores again. Thank God there is still a K-Mart near me.

Unsatisfied 12/24/09 9:30AM

Awful customer service! Ordered a gift on line 12/6/09 with the expectation of a 12/15 delivery date...only 97 cents to have this delivered to my home. Item went out on 12/7 and get lost somewhee in the transit process. Guess What 12/23 still don't have item. Walmart Customer Service said item was out of stock and they would be happy to send it when it came in. Not interested...try to explain that to a child.
