Just tried calling this number and got a recorded message on repeat telling me to go to their website.

Their website is terrible.

It's too bad really because I wanted to support this company in the beginning. It turns out that they are pretty much worthless when it comes to standing behind their product.

I've been trying to reach the technical support phone number all day. As soon as I select my product I get the message that says hold for representative it then rings once then goes fast busy. Has anyone else had this problem.

WOW! There is nothing else to say, but WOW! Finally got through to a live human, and they were from India! I am not prejudiced by any means but it was rather difficult to understand this individual. I informed them their website was down, and that I could not DL the software my new headphones required to work properly. He was aware of the problem but could not tell me an estimated time the site would be back up. After reading all of these comments and finding out that their website has gone down many other time in the past, coupled with their horrible customer support, I think I will return these headphones and procure a new pair from another company.

I have to agree with your comments guys. I bought a Zen Style 300 in May 2011. Am from the UK and the UK website displays the same unhelpful characteristics as the USA. This adds bucketloads of stress for the most basic of enquiries. These guys are devious liars, who tell lies on their website:
1. The website boasts 'comprehensive customer support'
2. But, there is no telephone number anywhere AND
3. The page you use to submit a request for help refuses to 'send' your request. Instead, it always gives a false message about missing data (when, after triple checking, no data is missing at all!)
4. After carefully selecting your product online, the 'software download' buttons lead you right back to... yep... the page where you select your product. IN A CYCLE OF DOOM THAT NEVER ENDS......
This company is not to be trusted. They take you money and then treat you like dirt. I think they are from Singapore. I HATE THEM.

Got through!! Spoke to someone today (1/19/11) about my wireless speaker and bluetooth USB device not connecting after only 3 uses. Neither of us can say whether it's a problem with the USB device or the speaker so was asked to try and connect to the speaker via a bluetooth phone. If it doesn't work, I will report back to Customer Support and they will replace the speaker. So far, so good but Creative is not the same company it used to be. I couldn't even contact Customer Support through their website and, of course, there's no telephone number listed so I was glad to find Contact Help! I will bookmark.

Someone DID answer, it just wasn't a very helpful call. Bought a brand new set of speakers and they didn't work out of the box. The only solution according to the tech guy is to get a refund and get another set. They're BRAND NEW and defective! Not a quality product.

1st time i have ever taken the time to post anything on one of these boards. i am a home theater and automation company owner and i cant seem to get through to anyone. i own one of their lower end products and was considering buying a top of the line one from them and testing it in my personal system , but i am having no luck contacting them at all at any number . Purchase from them at your own risk, i will not be again.

I took up the previous posters challenge to find a phone number that actually works and talk to someone who deals with technical support so I could get my defective headphones replaced. Let me take you through my journey...

Creative Labs' website has no record of any phone number whatsoever. Any sort of link that you think would take you to a phone number leads you back to the generic technical support page.

I tried the phone numbers listed at the top of this page. No luck. Pushing '1' as told by the site actually lead to an instant disconnect. I tried it twice since I couldn't believe that pushing the number would really disconnect me.

Then I did a Google Maps search of their offices. I found them in the Bay Area and called. Several times. I don't think they even have an operator. They did however, have a company directory, which I dialed 'Smith' thinking that is a common name and maybe they could direct me. I was right! But alas, Ms. Smith's line took me directly to a voice-mail box which was conveniently full.

Finally dialed the number provided by a user down the line on this site which is 405.742.6622 and talked to a tired sounding man likely from Africa based on his accent. He did finally get me set up with an RMA and a means to get a replacement.

Time elapsed? 1/2 hour.

I'll admit, the headphones were great until they lost all their sound. But, I'm sincerely flabbergasted that a company would literally install a labyrinth in attempt to thwart paying customers from receiving justified service from them. It's pretty appalling, really.

I won't ever buy something from them again that is worth more than, well, $30.

Their customer service completely sucks. I bought HD video cam and it's gone bad. Now I've pay for shipping and handling for the substandard product. I would never buy creative product again

DO NOT BUY CREATIVE LAB PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!! The 800 number dose not work. You cant get a live person AT ALL. the 405-742-6622 number gets you a live person, and if you got you product from Amazon than call 800-201-7575. I purched a Zen fi style and did not work right out of the box.I spent an hour tring to get that 800 # to work then tried the 405 #. I will never by a creative product again. Please DO NOT BY CREATIVE LAB PRODUCTS. YOU WILL BE SORRY.

I so wish I saw this page before I purchased my Zen speaker from online Creative store. As I never would have bothered. After purchasing with my Mastercard I received an email saying my order could not be processed until I sent a scanned picture of the front & back of my credit card? No chance!! I refused due to security threat. After a couple of days the payment cleared from my bank anyway $370AUD. Days later after they had my money I could not track my delivery and my account said i had no previous purchases? emails sent but no replies.. finally got a reply saying my order has been cancelled and a refund would be put back into my bank???.. I have received no explanation why and am still waiting to receive the refund!! Impossible to speak to a human at technical support, and emails are not returned. I will never buy another Creative product for as long as I live.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

I have owned a few creative products in the past. First, they intentionally changed the drivers in my original Audigy 2 soundcard to make it not work properly (it was fine until an update and then never worked right again in the same system, had to buy a new X-fi card).

I just bought a creative headset and can't even download the drivers since they didn't include them and their website is jacked up. Been awhile and STILL can't download drivers, almost NO way to get to customer support and no response. Won't make the mistake to buy from them again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Zen MX bought in March from uk on line store (Ireland) returned in July. Replacement was a refurb of poor quality, had to pay postage to return. The next replacement was also poor quality refurb which I had to return again, costing me more postage. They promissed a brand new replacement and a different model and said they would not pay postage, only an accessory instead of postage costs. When this arrived this was again a poor quality refurb.
Requested a full refund but had to supply my bank details for a bank transfer as they will not refund on new credit card.Returned mp3 and accessories with even more postage cost, stll waiting for refund and they will not say when it will be paid and I will also have to pay bank charges for the transfer, which I do not know how much thet will be.

I sent in my Vado HD for repair. Waited over a month, could not reach customer support and sent many e-mails. As your site recommended, I called tech support and was told they wanted to send me a new Vado HD. I waited another two weeks and finally received a bottom of the line, not HD USED (had movies on it) Vado. Again, went through many changes and received a RMA, sent it back and am now waiting an additional month without much hope. Waiting call back from tech support. Never Again

Their T3130 2.1 Speaker system junked out on me after 4 months of use.

Had total hell trying to contact them, and finally they responded to an email, and I followed the instructions, but their site would not accept my serial number.

I had to dig on the net, find a phone number, select RANDOM options until I got a HUMAN, explain to they why I was calling, and FINALLY they seem to be helping, but I have to pay to ship it to them.

Even if they replace them, this is a total failure.

I will never buy another Creative product if I can help it. Pitiful.

sent 2.1 speaker system in for repair, its been 2months, they still are working on it. called customer service 5x, at first they said i didnt send in the receipt for purchase verification when I did because I purchased 2 other cl products in the past. 1 month goes by the say they are shipping, 2 weeks later they say the sent it. I call in again they say the still are working on it. Their products are affordable with acceptable quality, but I recommend you always get a warranty. Their customer service sucks. I try to buy their products through other companies for better customer service and accuracy.

Their customer service is non-existent!!! I have emailed them 2 times with no reply and now I just want to return my faulty player and get my money back. The problem is I DON"T KNOW HOW!!!! They suck. I'm never buying anything from them again. They make it SO easy to buy their products, but IMPOSSIBLE to return them or even get assistance on how to use them. I will never recommend their products to anyone ever again.

Poor quality products and the WORST customer service EVER!!!

I challenge you to find a phone number for Creative Labs Customer Service.....it doesn't exist. The one listed on this site is pre-recoreded and hangs up on you.

My Gigaworks T40's failed after only 6 months of easy use. I tried to fill out an RMA on Creative's web site but you need a serial number....which I can't find on the product, hince the effort to try contacting them by phone.....no joy!

I will never purchase another product made by this company and will discourage all those I know and have contact with to do the same.

Shame on you Creative. Your CUSTOMERS deserve better than this!!!

bought the SB Extreme Music. didnt work.called 405 number extremely poor audio and terrible english. kept sending me to my email for instructions and if it didnt work call again.after 3 or 4 tries I quit and sent the unit back top dealer. Never again Creative

I just called the 405 number and I got through to a person. He did some diagnostics over the phone and determined that my product needed to be replaced indefinitely. They issued me a RMA# and my new speakers are on the way. I am very happy with CREATIVE LAB. and will continue to buy there products until the day I wither away and die.
I must add, The tech guy had no problem waiting for me, while I put the phone down to take care of a customer.

I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CREATIVE LABS PRODUCT AGAIN, THOUGH I HAVE BOUGHT MANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS IN THE PAST.

I HAVE JUST INSTALLED ONE OF THEIR SOUND CARDS.

I GET ABSOLUTELY NO SOUND!

I HAVE GONE THROUGH THEIR TROUBLESHOOTING REGIMAN. I HAVE GONE THRU WINDOWS TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE.

EVERYTHING CHECKS OUT -- BUT I GET NO SOUND!

I THEN DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED THE LATEST CREATIVE SOFTWARE. I STILL NO SOUND!

I AM AN ADVANCED USER BUT I AM BAFFLED AFTER 12 HOURS DEALING WITH THIS PROBLEM.

CREATIVE LABS OFFERS LITTLE HELP. THEY MAKE IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM. CAN'T GET THEM ON THE PHONE - VOICE MAIL REFERS YOU TO THE INTERNET.

ON THE INTERNET THEY EVEN MAKE IT HARD, AND TRY TO DISCOURAGE YOU, TO SEND THEM AN EMAIL. I FINALLY DID SEND AN EMAIL. WONDER IF I'LL EVER GET A RESPONSE?

I DON'T OFTEN REQUIRE HELP FROM A COMPANY, OTHER THAN SPECS AND DOWNLOADS FROM THEIR WEBSITES. BUT FROM NOW ON I'LL ONLY BUY PRODUCTS FROM COMPANIES WHICH PROVIDE PHONE SUPPORT!!!

Don't believe "anonymous" about "he got through". Creative Labs does not want to be bothered with customer tech support. That is why I am going to return my Vado.
It is not possible to "create a movie" to burn to DVD w/their product.
For another $19.95 to them you can buy more of their software to create a movie for your computer viewing.

Creative's website appears to be down or %$@#%ed up for the last two days.
When I call either number I get a recording. When I press "1" I go into "run silent, run deep" mode.

Nothing happens.

Everytime I try to add or change files on my Zen 32G I have trouble. I'll never buy a Creative product again.

I couldn't get through to a live person on either of the technical support numbers (800 or 405) on Monday 17 May 2010 3:30 P.M. CST. Press "1" and the recording is repeated. Creative Labs boasts of "award winning customer support" but I've read of many customers' horrible customer support experiences with this company. I've decided not to buy the Cambridge Soundworks product I was considering.
