I have been trying to reach someone at myspace for about 3 plus weeks. I had a site that Myspace erased?? because someone claimed false information... funny thing is I owned everything on my page and I'm now currently involved in a lawsuit over this (MY PROPERTY... )with the people who made a false claim, Did my space ever contact me??? NO they took the word of some else and destroyed many hours of my work, not to mention the money spent. I have also contacted the legal department and still nothing, they send a automated message with 8 reasons on it....

@Klaisk your profile says "music" on top. So it seems like your issue's solved. But you don't have any music. Are you actually a music artist? If not, MySpace is pretty big about shutting non-music pages down, or changing them. You should probably put some music on there while you can, or else they won't think you're a real artist.

And next time, just email their music support directly. musicsupport@support.myspace.com.

@Anonymous if you ever have a crazy issue like that, where it's a child missing, you should call the police. usually, they can get in contact with myspace really quickly, cuz I know that myspace works with law enforcement a lot.

@mr.2much: You have to send them a salute. This is how you make one:

1) write on a paper your myspace URL, that's the whole web address of your page. like tom's myspace URL is myspace.com/tom

2) take a pic of yourself holding the sign. it's best if you take a full body pic, just so that they don't question that its a real pic.

3) email your salute to mycare@support.myspace.com. I just emailed them and thats the email they replied to me from.

how can i get a new password if my old email address i used to log in with has expired, and myspace help keep trying to send me a new password to my old email address, that i can not access. I've email my problem several times but still no help.

Thank you to whoever posted the phone number for myspace. I have a missing/runaway 14 year old daughter and was able to contact them and get them involved in hopefully locating my missing/runaway daughter and bringing her home safely.

Here is how you get the chumps over at Myspace to help you. You have to be in the area, but if you are go directly to the headquarters and raise hell in front of everyone. Myspace hates a bad rep so they will kindly ask you to step inside a private office. Someone who is really nice will come to ask what the problem is. You tell them. They get someone to fix the issue. End of story.

I did it because they wouldnt help me over the phone and gave me the check the website run around that never gets anything solved. Try my way above. You will get helped.

I HAVE HAD A MUSICIAN PROFILE FOR 5 MONTHS NOW. HAD MY MUSIC UPLOADED AND EVERYTHING. ABOUT A MONTH AGO, MY PAGE GOT HACKED. IT TOOK ME LIKE 3 WEEKS OR SO TO RETRIEVE MY INFO BACK. ONCE I DID I WENT TO MY PAGE AND IT'S BEEN CHANGED TO A NON MUSICIAN PAGE? HOW CAN MYSPACE CHANGE IT FROM A MUSIC PROFILE TO A NON MUSIC PROFILE? I'VE BEEN KEEPING TRACK OF THE PAGE EVERYDAY SO I KNOW IT DIDNT GET DELETED SAME URL SAME PAG, I STILL HAVE MY 1,222,987 PROFILE VIEWS SO I KNOW ITS THE SAME PAG, MYSPACE JUST KEEPS SENDING ME AUTOMATED RESPONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SO AGGRIVATED!!!!!!!!!

This # is only for emergency/safety issues,they simply direct you right back to the help section on the myspace page. Doesn't do me much good. Wish I could just talk to a human!!!

I filed a Bug Report. When posting a blog, and using HTML to embed streaming audio from my own website, the HTML is automatically changed in such a way as to create a black video screen (even though it is audio) and essentially makes it not functional.

Their response?

To set up a blog, here's what you do:

blah blah blah.

See how relavant that was? I don't even need a response. I think they use a program to handle the responses. They probably use a help desk system, commonly asked questions, and use a program to detect the nature of the question, and e-mail back a response after some time has gone by so you don't know it's from a computer.

Several months ago I had a bug they preventing me from sending any messages to one particular person, saying it was blocked by the spam filter. I went through the run around for a full 3 MONTHS getting the same kind of responses.

Not once have they ever given a real response to a real problem.
