I made a huge mistake switching to Vodafone. In 20 months they have done the following:
1 - disabled my phone while I was in the US with no prior notification. Their justification was that the charges were high and therefore it was for my own good! I pointed out that IF they had bothered to contact me I would have told them not to worry. As it was there was NO way left to call as they had disconnected my phone.
This has been made worse by Vodafone insisting on replacing my handset (3 handset now). By mistake the DPD guy drove off with the memory card. Vodafone customer service said they would try to retrieve it when it arrive back at Vodafone and to call back in 2 days. I called back and some arrogant idiot in customer service told me it was my responsibility and they will do nothing, not even replace the memory card! Thankfully this nightmare will be over in February and I can switch to a better service operator.
