Just wanted to comment on a on how I was treated with a product I purchased from the Fayetteville NC store. I bought a fish finder from this store and had an issue with it, varied it back and was exchanged and had a great visit. This product had the same issue. The first visit the employee told me they had several to be returned for the same issue. It was an electronic so the warranty was out to the receipt for the second one. The issue I have was I need to have help to find out how to fix it or exchange it. The first exchange the employee told me to bring it back if I had any issues since the exchange was a demo. The problem is the manager there the second time seemed like he needed to get back to watching TV or something that he didn't have time for me, told me to just send it back to the manufacturer. I considered Gander Mountain to be a professional store not a WalMart. With the way I was treated I will never go back and rather go to WalMart. These employees didn't act one bit like they cared to help like s personal should. I did call the manufacturer, not sent it back, and they told me what to do and fixed it in about thirty seconds. It would be of great benefit that your employees, especially manager s have a professional attitude to help their customers, if not you might as well be s WalMart.

i went into dothan ,al store to look at boots to wear out in my muddy woods. there was three pairs i wanted to try on. i had to walk around store to find someone for help, she called someone that worked that dept., when the girl finally showed up, she only had one pair for me to try on, being after christmas , i understood low inventory. she said she has no idea when new shipment would be in and walked off.then went and visited with someone standing in dept waiting to see her .how rude, how can you not know when you have new shipment coming in your dept., how about asking me if she can contact me when she gets new shipment, i was ready to spend 129. on a pair, guess they dont need the sales.

I made a purchase at your Myrtle Beach store a few days ago. Upon checking out, the cashier, Associate Sandra Crum addressed me with the information of how to save and get a Gander Mountain credit card. Due to her, I did so. Sandra's professional approach was pleasant with the attitude to promote the business and help the customer. Great people skills, she is exactly what any business would want in an employee that has to deal directly with the public. Look forward to shopping there again.

Last week went in to Gander in Cicero to purchase a gun. Waited 1 1/2 hour at the counter after taking a number. Walked out. Went back today and waited 45 minutes after taking a number. Planned on spending quite a bit. Guess I will take my business to Cabellas.

I am unable to reach your website. I live on Guam a territory of the United States, when attempting to reach your website I receive and not authorized from this location notice. I have a house in Alabama close to your store in Opelika and was wanting to review your stock for purchases (Gun safes etc.) upon my return to Alabama. Unlike your competition I am unable to price check or review your offerings. Can this be changed?

Just visited the Roanoke, Va. Gander Mountain store. I was very pleased with the patience and expertise of the sales person by the name of Kyle. Though he was helping several other customers at the same time, he still took the time to make sure to explain the hiking boot differences in detail. It is unusual in today's stores to find a salesman like Kyle. He deserves a pat on the back by corporate management.

I purchased a firearm at a local store after going to my local G.M.and having them send me back to get my firearm. I called the corporate office and was reffered back to the G.M. that would not price match to start with, after no satisfaction again I have just decided to no longer give my hard earned money to G.M. and I tell everyone I can about the false advertising on your price matching.

I have been coming to this Gander since it opened. This store has improved dramatically in the last few months, from their customer service, prices and the store is clean. I spent over $800 in the store yesterday and the store manager came up and introduced herself, walked me around to show me some new items, and I was blown a way by her knowledge and she was engaged genuinely. I will continue to come here and recommend this store to all my family and friends. Thank you for making the changes and making it fun to come shop your store.

Some time ago, I called my local store here in Arlington, Texas about an offer I observed while in you store in The Highlands.
It seems the offer detailed a $40 gift card if I used my Gander Mountain Mastercard twice in the month of July.
I called your store about the reward and was told the store customer relations person would research it and return my call.
Now, several weeks later, I have never heard back from Gander Mountain.
Leave it to Gander Mountain to reneg on a reward offer, then when an inquiry is made, never follow thru.

Hello; I was in Your West Mifflin Pa. store on 8/6/15 First time handgun buyer at 63, need for shaky neighborhood. Your employee Cameron was the best person i have ever dealt with. talked me through entire process, which could be daunting for someone never fired a handgun. This man is a definite plus for Your company, and I will look for him on any future purchases.

My wife and I were in your Sherman Texas location this evening about 7:50 pm. I was interested in purchasing a CHL handgun, Siig Sauer 9mm. There was no customers in the handgun dept, but there were three employees standing around and behind the counter.,carrying on their own conversation. NO ONE offered any assistance, nor did they even acknowledge us. We kept looking and waiting, there was NO eye contact or help from anyone. We hung around a few more minutes, and became so disgusted with none existence of service we left.
On way to front we stopped in the clothing felt. Again met several employees, of which none even spoke to us.
Finally I ASKED if they were closing, one of the lady employees said, no; we are open until 9:30. As far as I am concerned, they'd might as well have locked the doors then. I think I courted 5 customers in the entire store, and at lest 8 visible employees. I do not know what the problems are in this store, but I am sure they are abundant! I have a Gander Mountain credit card, and have purchased from this store before. However my last several visits have been very undesirable, and it appears service, or the lack of, is rapidly deteriorating!
We ended up going to Academy sporting goods about a mile away, and received stellar and professional service. Greeted at the door, quality assistance, and service in the handgun dept. they also carry Sig Sauer hand guns and offer service too!
Whoever the Zone or Territory Manager is for GanderMountain in Sherman Texas needs to address the manager, and employees of this location. It will be a long time before I ever darken the doors of this particular location again !!
Respectfully submitted

I recently made a purchase at Gander Mountain in Pensacola, FL. I worked with a sales rep in the Firearm Section named Jarrod. I was there on Friday 5/22/15 and again on Saturday and he was by far the most friendly and helpful rep I have ever dealt with. I shopped 4 competitors but returned to Gander Mountain to make my purchase from Jarrod (unsure if last name)

I was in the lakeville mn store this afternoon and was very impressed by the cashier named brittany. There was a line about 15 customers deep and many of them were grumbling about the wait. I work in retail and so i mentioned that i felt bad for her...her response was that she felt bad for the customers that had to wait...come to find out, it was her first day on the job but she was handling herself like a seasoned employee! She was so positive and helped make my trip to the store enjoyable.

Gander Mountain does not honor their return policy. They claim to get back your money in the form you paid with. I paid cash for a handgun the order was canceled. I took my receipt back to the store. And had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get my money back. When customer pays cash the refund should be on the spot.

Gander Mountain's website is severly flawed. It comes up as a blank page and has error
HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917)
It is completely unusable. One can disable scripts and much of the website will come up, but scripted functions do not work. Gander Mountain needs some IT support to fix their webpages. Otherwise, it is likely their internet sales will substantially decline.

After shopping at Gander Mountain in Tyler and Waco, Texas, I am concerned about the management style and personnel practices. On three different occasions ( two in Tyler and one in Waco) your checkout employees took 30 plus minutes to accept our check, each time explaining that the.computer system validating the checks is faulty. You obviously are way understaffed because we have had problems getting help on the floor with purchases and we stood at the checkout in Tyler and watched as a young man ran out the door with one of your bows. Unnoticed by the clerks there or by the manger walking the floor. The alarm sounded but the clerks at checkout did not notice because one was trying to get your system to accept our check
And the other was overwhelmed by a long line of customers. Your staff is pleasant and helpful but seem to be working at a disadvantage . That is uncomfortable for them and unprofitable for you. Just thought you might want to know.

Please do NOT shop Gander Mountain on Thanksgiving Day. A very important family member of mine cannot be home for dinner with his family because he has to work from 2pm until midnight. How is that right? Do you honestly think this company should be open ALL Thanksgiving Day? Why not open at 7pm if you must. This is wrong. I'm sure the big executives will all be home with their families on Thanksgiving Day. Boycott Gander Mountain on Thanksgiving day!!!!! People should be home with their families, after all, what is Thanksgiving about? Can you say FAMILY.

IN GANDER MOUNTAINS KINGSTON NY STORE There is a man named Marcel who is really there for the customer . He is highly educated on the guns, ammo and products he sells. I have been in this store where I have seen several people say no to other employees for help they will wait for Marcel. This man is a keeper all your workers should follow this example. This man deserves a title and a raise . Now I was there one day during remodeling and the store manager Tim , well let's just say he should stay out of that department . Never down grade Marcel again behind Marcel's back . Marcel has more knowledge about that whole dept. in his little toe then this man has in his head. I am sending a copy of this letter to the corperate office with the hopes that Marcel gets rewarded for his knowledge and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The store in Cicero, new york is by far the worst in costumer service. Every time i go there i get harassed by employee thinking that i am going to stealing something they stand by me and watch (more a starring)on till i leave the department. This last experience was my last of this harassment. I have never in my life ever stolled anything for them to harrass someone that way. I had enough of this that i am going to make sure to post in every place possible for your horrible customer service and this is coming from someone who works in the retail business.

I was at your Germantown store today (GunWorld)and was helped by Jory Mikkonen.
Jory was courteous, knowledgeable and helped me find answers to all my questions, even when he did not know the answer himself.
As a result. I purchased a rifle.
