Wells Fargo has always put customers first. They take customers concerns very seriously. I will say since Wells bought out Wachovia things are different. I understand it takes time for former Wachovia employees to learn all new products but it will get better. Please don't give up. Wells has to be doing something right after all they have been around since 1852.

Today I called in regards my teen's account and to make long story short, I than realized after I hung up that I was upset over nothing and they were right all along BUT I will say that I was stunned to hear the comment they expressed towards my teenage son! This so called supervisor actually sarcastically made fun of the fact that my son only had $1 in his account. It would of probably helped if I let him know how hard my son worked for that one dollar. Of all the years I've been with this bank I can say I am so disspointed in them!!

First let me say that the local branch manager I spoke to was extremely polite and helpful. HOWEVER, I hated my experience with the national customer service so bad that when I sell my house and get out from under my mortgage with them, I will severe all ties with Wells Fargo for good. The girl I spoke to must have labeled me belligerent because I said no to hearing about their products and services... I had already listened to their products and services three days ago when I first called asking for help about a possible fraudulent check, which they did not provide. I was professional, but direct. This child passed me off to her "manager" who acted like I was a fool for not being a banker and knowing how their check processes work, and for being concerned that I may have had money stolen from my account. He acted like I was accusing Wells Fargo of doing something wrong, which I was not. I was asking for help, and what steps to take about this matter. I even explained to him I was not upset with Wells Fargo (at least until I dealt with him), and that I just wanted to know what to do about the matter. Customer service was HORRIBLE. It sounds like Wells Fargo is hiring children with no life experience or communication skills that don't involve texting. I cannot remember when I have been so angry.

Unbelievably rude! Spoke with a representative named Shelly. She was demeaning, belittling, and amazingly arrogant! Had to demand she close my account in order to avoid asking her to kiss my arse.

Worst service ever. They offered free credit score infrnation, but then i learned that the associate had signed me up for some credit monitoring service which immediately bgan debiting my account. I never gave anyone at the bank permission to do this. When i complained, they acted like i was ungrateful for the favor they had done. Today i went in to cash a check and told me it wouldn't scan so i needed to deposit it and the funds would be available to me the following week. I drove across town to another bank alltogether, cahsed the check with no problem, and drove back to WF to confront them. They lied to my face and told me that they never said I would need to wait for the funds to be available. They said i was a good customer so they could DEPOSIT my check but not cash it. I told them that of course I was a good customer...the problem was THEM!!! They all walked away from the desk after that and as i turned to leave, the teller shouts out "Thanks for being a valued customer!" How insulting! I'm moving my accounts out of there ASAP.

hello to Wells Fargo my mortgage company my family have been mortgage to you 10years. on numerous occasions I've come through the years to you requesting a refinance on my mortgage. after being promised that you can refi my mortgage in me paying for appraisal after appraisal just just long enough for the appraisal to expire you give your refusal. I find it really or a lack of better words stupid you can't even refinance your own mortgage. bet lead me to believe your refinance process is just a damn scam. your department don't take in consideration we have not missed a payment with you yet. if I if I'm really fine for a less rate why would I miss a payment now. we wish we have never finance with you. I will let my church congregation know my coworkers on my job I work for the power company so I will let the customers know also my neighbors my friends my family and everyone I come in contact with how horrible Wells Fargo is. after we get our records records and order I am dumping you as soon as I can even if I have to pay more to the other company I am very dissatisfied with Wells Fargo.

So, I lend or invest money in small businesses... I have over 5 different business accounts with Wells Fargo alone, and the store managers tells me that its a conflict of interest for me to bank with Wells Fargo because I lend money to small business,,, What a bunch of CRAP, she put a hold on my accounts and called her so called back room. Im getting a cashier check back in 8 days. I cant describe the worthless capability of this store manager.

My husband and I opened up our own business almost two years ago. We decided to do our business and personal banking with Wells Fargo Bank! Things were going good @ first with business and the banking until we hit a rough spot and had to close the business for good. After loosing our business my husband had to find a full time job ( which is hell in this economy) to support a home while I stay at home with our two children. We knew that we owed the bank and had been keeping up with what we owed from every dollar to every cent; pluse we talk to harassing customers service reps. that instructed us to pay the money when we can. When my husband and received our tax refund check we immediately deposited the check and wrote 2 checks out to pay Wells Fargo bank. instead of letting us pay them the bank went into our personal checking account ant TOOK ALL of our refund. When I looked online to check the account the money was gone and called Wells Fargo directly; I was directed to the recovery department and was rudely talk to by a repersentative. Instead of helping me she told me that " I didn't read my mail", "Wells Fargo is a BIG bank we can do what we want", " Whom ever I left a message with they were to lazy to give you your messages"! After sitting on the phone crying and being insulted I shot back at her! Even though I treated harshly and unfairly Wells Fargo still will not put the money back in our personal account and they still continue to treat us harshly refusing to send us a copy of agreement and not returning phone calls!

Refinanced our home ove a year ago. The mortgage was never filed with the county, the deed was not filed. This is an absolute mess.
I dislike and do not trust Wells Fargo

I just came here to deposit money into my landlord's account. I did not have the account number on me and they told me that it's against their policy to look that information up. I came to the same branch last month and the lady that helped me let me do the deposit. You guys need to train your workers more on your banks policies. I'm not even a customer and I'm already unsatisfied.

On February 13,2013 I tripped on a water pipe hole at a branch office in Connecticut. One of the tellers was coming out of the bank and saw that I had cut my hand and hurt my knee. He went back into the bank and got a band aid for me. I filed an accident report with the bank after a week of trying to get someone to do it.As a result I had to go to an orthopedist for an x-ray and now have to have Synvysc shots in my knee which are expensive . The bank has been promising to send me an accident report to complete.It has been over one month and I have yet to receive it.I was told after calling them that the young man forgot to mail it. I am 77 years old and would appreciate it if someone would read this and take an interest in my well being. I have several accounts in this bank, but in the future I plan to close those accounts. It happened on bank property.Why is such a large corporation ignoring this????

in attempting to save me a trip to town to transfer $ from my account to my sons, I called my local branch. The gal told me I had to call an 800 #. I called the $800 while looking at my account online, the gal wanted to know when my last POS purchase was made to verify it was me (after I already gave her my SS#) I read her verbatim the info on my online account. The last POS purchase was 6 weeks ago and she said that was too long ago, that I answered too many wrong questions and she could no longer help me. I WAS PISSED!!! This was MY ACCOUNT, I read her EXACTLY the details as stated online, and I gave the wrong answers????????!!!!!!!!! I called back the local branch, talked to someone I knew this time and they took care of the transfer, but I am STILL PISSED!! You guys need to get your act together better than that for customer service at the 800#!!! MY ACCOUNT!! How DARE she tell me I answered the questions wrong when I was reading it right off my account online!!! GRRRRR!!!!

I cashed out my retirement and finally recieved the check in the mail; I called my local branch as I wanted to cash the check; they give me the run around, telling me that I have to open an account and then I cna wait for over one week to cash the check that is from Wells Fargo. Banks are blood sucking parasits; I do not have to poen an account; cash the darn check-I am an adult I do not need the bank to give me the run around or tell me what to do! Thank you for the lousy service-this is why I do not BANK!

I have several account with this institution and wanted to open an account with an initial deposit of $9499.53. I called the Tyvola Branch in Charlotte at 4pm and asked for a business banker, the woman who took the call said all bankers were busy. She took my contact number at 4pm - it is now 5:20 (after hours) and just received a cal back from Banker. great service!! thx

I am a wells fargo checking account customer, I have used this bank since it was First National, South Trust, Wachovia, and now Wells Fargo....long time. I live in Elba and my account is actually in Elba, but I went to your Enterprise branch today to cash two checks from Army Aviation Bank, I was told at the drive through they couldn't cash the checks because I only had a 100.00 dollars in my account and the checks total 390.00, but they said I could deposit them but you know what happens then, I wouldn't have access to my money until the next day, I proceeded to go into the bank and got the bank manager and she told me I could deposit them, I ask could I cash them and then deposit them, NO!!! Well I think if you really cared about your customers you could instruct your employees to call and verify with the other banks that there is sufficient funds to cover the checks, but I was told they couldn't do that either. Any way I drove 3 miles to the other bank and they honored the checks and told me they were very sorry for the problems I had with my bank cashing the checks. Well I am getting very disgusted with your bank, you have too many too young employees in your Elba branch, I realize you were trying to get rid of the older employees so you wouldn't have to pay as much for benefits and wages but you can tell your just hiring anyone to deal with your customers money and information, I don't like leaving too much in the account because I really don't trust a lot of 20 something year olds. Any way I'm sure Wells Fargo could careless if they lose me as a customer because I only have a 100.00 in my account, I do pay the 9.00 service fee every month, every time your new employees tried to give me "free checking" I said no and I believe now your bank has started charging customers a fee again without the benefits they had with the old service fee. I'm laughing as I write this because I know what your thinking "crazy woman with no money" but the whole thing is we should be getting a settlement within the next 6 mths and guess where I'm going to deposit it, That's right, Army Aviation Credit Union! They were older, more professional. If your Company made the policy on not cashing checks for customers and not have your employees call banks to verify if checks are good, then maybe you should would reconsider the rules, Thank You Cinda Semonelle Smith

I have been banking with them for over 11 years. This week I was charged over $300.00 in service fees.

I called them and was rudely put into my place!!

I WILL FIND BETTER WAYS TO THROW AWAY $300.00, it won't be stolen by them again.

My account is now going to SCFCU

I don't think Wells Fargo will be around to much longer.

If you like incompetence, endless calls that go round in circles, rudeness and BS- then Wells Fargo is the bank for you!
Never dealt with a bank that was so poorly run. 99% of employees are either stupid, incompetent or both.
Been trying to help my 80 year mother deal with her accounts and every time I call I am amazed at how much more stupidity Wells Fargo can come up with. If you can RUN- don't walk away from this monstrous failure whose CEO collected $12.6 million last year in salary.

Prepared myself for a great day! Paying off my mortgage! After 2 calls to headquarters to verify that I could pay at a branch bank (yes, I could) (and I have person's name), and after going to a Home Mortgage office near my home (no, they couldn't take my certified check but ANY BRANCH BANK could; Any branch? Yes, here's a list in the area. ), I cheerfully went to a branch not too far in Athens, Georgia, on Alps Road. Cashier said I needed to wait to have a personal banker accept it. OK. Began my 30 minute wait. I was second in line after 2 other customers walked out. Waited and listened to the male banker spend his time loudly entertaining a man's little girl (counting to five with her repeatedly, does she know her colors? What sounds does she like? and on and on). Finally female had time. I complained to her (big mistake) about the wait. She went to get a payoff slip. Came back, said she had to make a brief phone call, and long story short, whoever was on the phone said the payment had to be overnighted. I tried to motion to her that I had names from headquarters stating that I could complete the business there, but she was having no part of it. I was "summarily dismissed" with "mail it to the address on the form". I grabbed my items and made a hasty retreat. No more happy day. And most of all, no more business with Wells Fargo. Please note that a big sign in the bank attributed to the founder states that the important word in the company is COURTESY. Yeah, right! I will be following up with calls today to everyone I can complain to, including the branch name and the "personal banker's" name. Bank too big. Shades of Bank of America.

And the day came for me to say "here today to close my account!"
One day I had to request an interview with an agent in person to guide me the steps to open another account, escrivi my name on the waiting list like everyone else, there were only two people on call, I sat 10 minutes waiting not called me at all and passed newly arrived people, bank employees came out to meet them, looked at the list and it was as if customers chose, and my husband and I were ignored. decided to leave.
other day we had an obligation to enter the second time the bank and a person of color, I do not remember the name, but never able to forget the face of that person, as was the manager, we scored we did the same in the list and turned the expected most horrible of our lives, he came out all nasty and told us they were very busy that if they want to wait. was decided to wait because I need to close my account, but the Lord was talking and talking and laughing with another bank employee without having the slightest option to assist us.
that bad time. decided to leave.
the third visit in August 3, 2012 I could close my account with that bank
reason: themselves, (which my husband and I received was discriminant)
that day a man named oscar the manager responsible for opening and closing accounts, a pathetic man and difficult to tolerate for his performance of galarneria.
He welcomed us and already know that I went with the intention of closing my account, rather wished we had the audacity to ask us to stop passing the other person who had just arrived, that day we were with our children, they were already bored of waiting
.
This was already an insult, but the other party refused to accept that "choice" made by the manager, and decided to make it clear that we were on the waiting list for a long time.
Through our interview to make their work seem forced, I mean the manager, the (Oscar) step card twice for a machine in your office, saying he saw no problem and that all was well, that would take days on account close, and the entire balance was zero. redirected us to the window to pick up the money and the cashier told us the wrong done right? if that usually happens. a very low voice
I just shook my head thinking that I was gonna go back to that place never ever set foot,
 but NO!
 Mailed NOW SAYING: BY PASS CARD THAT DAY I HAVE an overdraft .. SAME DAY THAT I closed my account, (what a nightmare) (THAT FRUSTRATION)

Wells fargo Branch Irvington, fremont, california has a very bad customer service, the store manager Grace jiang is a very rude lady, some of the staff is really nice, but the store manager is very rude and she doesnot respect the customers, for any thing she simple says sorry we cannot do this, rather providing the solution she says "NO".

Wells Fargo holds my son's school loan. They have lied to us, cussed me out, and harassed us. They also reduced our credit rating. Then they sent us applications for credit cards. You cannot talk to anyone. They hang up on you. Evidently no supervisor is ever available.

Tonight I tried to call the customer service number listed on the back of my card. When my call was answered, the person answering the call did not identify themselves as with Wells Fargo. Instead of having options to speak to a Wells Fargo Representative, the only option I was given was to press a number to reach a representative for a free vacation. I really feel my call was highjacked by these people wanting me to sign up for a free vacation and to pay for it with my credit card. Wells Fargo should not be participating in this kind of activity. Please ignore any charges on my card for a Bahama vacation, I don't care how cheap is it. Donna Endsley

I actually use to work for the company. I can honestly say that it is not only bad for the customer that has to hear from a customer service rep who is not well trained, but it is also bad for the rep who has to not only get you off the phone ASAP but also to try to sell you something at the same time.

I don't even bank with Wells Fargo but someone who has an account there owes them money so they keep calling me because his old number is my new number. I called to tell them to remove my name from the list for the 5th time and the customer service representative gives me an attitude and says they will keep calling me. I'm glad I don't bank there because their customer service is the worst I have ever seen.
