No ONE answers phone on customer service number, just many ads playing!! I have a billing issue.
Read the reviews below to see the experience other people have had when dealing with customer service from Reader's Digest.
Just received another renewal from readers digest... Three years ago I paid in full for a year of readers digest and did not receive the large print or any other readers digest... Every time I received a renewal I have sent it back explaining this only to hear nothing back... All I am asking is that I get what I paid for... I miss reading readers digest but refused to pay double.
This is ridiculous ! I have been trying to find a phone number to call customer service for over a half hour....I have been subscribing to this magazine for over 40 years and sent subscriptions for Christmas presents for years....NO MORE !!! All I have is a simple question that I want to ask someone and have yet to find a person to speak with,,,,, After this I will get the RD at the library and save money and aggravation
Trying to get the book best of Readers Digest 2020. For $10.00 so far having no luck and obstacles. The lady at RD found it and wouldn't let me order it for $10.00. She said it was 20 something. What is going on at Readers Digest? The review of people trying to order the book are awful. So far I'm very disappointed in Readers Digest. I hope my result is better.
What a deceitful ad you have posted on pg. 8 re: "rd.com/bestrd20 and get it for just $10.,plus free shipping". LIARS I got a msg. asking if I was 60 or over and to press one and trying to sell me another product entirely. You have turned in to a disgrace like so many other businesses.
What a terrible telephone experience!!! All I wanted to do was order the "supposed" exclusive limited-time offer on the book, THE BEST OF READER'S DIGEST 2020. Instead I was sent EVERYWHERE, but where I wanted to go---all of which wanted to SELL me something else!!! THE MOST AWFUL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER! And NO I did not get the book ordered, but at this point, who wants a book from a business that would do this sort of thing? You just missed out on a number of sales to me, simply because this has always been my experience with your customer service--for years & years!CNQ@U
I had the same issue as another customer, trying to order The Best of Reader's Digest 2020, but there is NO website rd.com/bestrd2020 as shown in the July/August 2020 issue. The only way to find the book is on the site for rd.com, but NOT at the price of $10, only at the same $24+ as is listed on Amazon. Why does RD even advertise a book & specific site if it doesn't exist?? Totally annoying!
On page 7 of Reader's Digest magazine July/August 2020 you offer a book "The Best of Reader's Digest 2020" for $10 plus free shipping. I tried to order this book and it did not come up on the screen using rd.com/bestrd20. Tried calling the number for customer service did not connect with RD.
I received an "opportunity" to get a free gift with what I thought was renewing my reader's digest. I received a not so free book. As it turns out, I was billed $32.37 for it. Though I feel that I was duped, I will pay this bill. Do not send me anymore offers for anything, including renewing my subscription to your digest. You have lost a customer. If you send me any more books, I will consider it a gift and throw it away. I am using this way to contact you because you do not have an address on the Internet for me to mail a letter to you.
I am seeking help in locating an article which your magazine published back possibly in sixties...
It is in reference to my uncle Frank R Turner Jr who was in a WWII crash in England that he was on a bombing mission in which he was killed ...
The wreckage was located by a Mr Dagg and his sheep dog Sheila and several years later my grandmother, Sallie H Turner, received one of her puppies here in South Carolina....
I have since misplaced my copy of this RD
and would sincerely love to have a copy of this article
Any help you can give me will be appreciated .. thank you
I did not receive my December/January edition of Readers Digest, and when I called the best they could do was extend my subscription by one month. I want the issue I paid for. I was not even offered the digital edition not that it is the same, but at least I would have the content.
I have not been able to be without your magazine for years. Since I read my new ine in 2 days or less, I have to keep old ones and go through them again. I do have a question...weeks ago, I submitted something I hoped you could use, but am not sure it sent on my phone. It was about ancient pottery with words being found. It was humorous. How can I know you received it?
