I live in Rockport, TX and have wondered for a very long time why your company has never opened a store here. Anyone wanting birds, reptiles, fish or other small pets has to drive to Corpus Christi, because there are NO pet stores here. I gave up having an aquarium because it was just too much hassle driving 60-odd miles just to replace a fish or get filter supplies. Any chance of considering a small store here?TeriT

We have never had our dogs groomed at petsmart before, but wanted to try them out since they needed baths desperately. I was not impressed. We made an appointment for a Friday afternoon, and received confirmation messages via text, but ten minutes before the scheduled appointment we were called and the lady told us the appointment had been cancelled. This was extremely upsetting since we live pretty far out in the country and we were already far along the way with two dogs in the back. However, I understand things happen and was perfectly fine with rescheduling for the following Sunday. I was asked what time would be good for me and I set the appointment for 1:30. I found out that Sunday that the appointments had actually been set for 9 and 10 in the morning, which is not what I had agreed upon. The man checking us in basically called me a liar, and was VERY unprofessional. The dogs were good to go and checked in when I reminded the man that my younger one had been recently spayed, and to be careful around the incision site even though it had been a week. I was rudely informed that they had a 2 week waiting policy and could not take care of her, even though I had mentioned this when setting up the appointment. I am very disappointed and upset, and will not be returning to this petsmart in Burlington, NC.

Absolutely the most unprofessional group of immature girls I have ever dealt with. They called me to come pick up my dog, and to my horror he was only halfway groomed. Apparently he got a little cranky and instead of doing their job, they opted to make excuses about why they couldn't muzzle him and finish the groom. Mind you, my 15 pound dog is almost 4 years old and has never had any incident like this. The salon manager told me to get him a prescription for Xanax and to drug him next the time I brought him in to get groomed. Though it was stupid request, I my halfway groom dog looked ridiculous and I had to comply. I spent the nearly $30 on dog a Xanax prescription and when we returned to the Grooming Salon, the girl made excuses about how she didn't feel comfortable cutting his hair while he was mildly sedated even though I was told to sedate him. She called every number she could think of before calling in the store manager who she then complained to her, and then sent me away. All in all, I wasted two days and nearly $50 only to have my dog half way groomed. I am extremely unhappy with the PetSmart grooming salon and their adolescent groomers. I had expected PetSmart to employ real, professional groomers only to find snobby girls attitudes and don't know the first thing about grooming.

For the last 6 weeks I have been purchasing tropical fish from the pet smart on Johnston St in Lafayette, la. I was having an occasional fish here and there die. I finally went two weeks without having a fish die so I went back and purchased 8 Guppys at one time. Within 2 days I started having fish die again. I had 8 at one time die. That afternoon I had three more die and each day since then. I am using ick medicine in hopes that I can save as many as I can. I went back to pet smart on April 9th and ask to speak with a manager in the store. I let her know about the problem. Evidently they got a bad batch of fish in and all she said was that is possible. Never offered anything as I told her not only did the Guppys die they killed a lot of my other fish due to being sick. I have bought a lot of fish there as you can look it up. I am heart broken for the fish and have several dead in a bowl. I'd appreciate your looking into this matter. I purchased a range of different tropical fish and some were not so cheap. Thank you! Today, March 30, al 11:00 AM in the store in Mayagüez Puerto Rico an employee in the store, with the proper clothes, red shirt, said that he is going to answer a question I have "depending" because he is not in duty at this moment but he was located in the cash register. I told his he was irrespectful and he said that I should go to other emploee in tbe back of the store. I was only trying to know were a product is located. When I came back to the cash register asking for the manager, the girl said that she is the manager and I told her the situation but she did not said a word. This is the worst service a store can give. HORRIBLE Customer service. Obviously never going to buy a product on pet smart.

I went into the Petsmart on Manchester Rd to purchase fish. It has been awhile since I've been in this location and I was very disappointed in what has happened to this location. In the past, the tanks were clean and well cared for. This was not the case this time. The tanks were green and several tanks had deaf fish in them. Dead fuzzy fish. I asked the cashier if anyone was working in that area and she acted like I was bothering her. She did page, but no one ever came to help. Needless to say, I left without buying any fish and will not be back to this list cation.

I took my dog and my daughters dog to Petsmart on la ceienega la ca. On 3/11 at 5:30. My dog for bath and nail clip ( grinder) the girls working there were obviously tired ( comments were made) my puggale and my daughters chihuahua do not like getting their nails done BUT the collar they used was sooo tight ( to control the dogs ) that my dog was choking and coughing for an hour after I brought her home . I called there today and asked for the supervizer... Who I talked to but I did not feel like it was going to matter. I will never bring our dogs back and I hope that someone can speak to the people.... They could kill someone !! Thank you . Bonnie Goldman

Regarding your employees in Pet smart locations all over the U.S........do not let employees walk around with customers dogs it is unsafe to try and have a dog in your lap while answering the phones or moving from the table to desk!

Why does pet smart discriminate against bully breeds????? I was inquiring about your doggie day camp and was told my dog can not attend due to his breed. I will no longer be shopping at pet smart due to this incident.

I am glad I found this because my granddaughter and I had a bad experience at the store in Shawnee OK. It was 9:00 AM and no one was in the store except the two of us and one employee. The employee did not acknowledge us in any way. My granddaughter is interested in getting a cat and there were two in the store. My granddaughter is 14 years old and wanted to hold one of them. When we ask the employee she just shook her head "no". So I said "ok brook lets just go cause if you can't hold one we are not buying from here". The employee that I thought perhaps had no tongue said "we only let you hold them if you are interested in adoption" WHAT!!!!! We came into the store and went right to the cats!!!! So I just called and talked to a manager and got NO WHERE. I guess they are not concerned that their employees not only do not greet or acknowledge people in any way but are also allowed to be rude. I have worked with the public my entire working years and I always had a smile and a friendly approach. Guess things are changing. Both my fur babies are in a better place so I will never darken the door of another petsmart

kevin is the manager at city of industry, ca store , i went to the petsmart to return dog food that i picked up by mistake royal caine for shitzu i purchased x small bites and i needed mini royal caine food for my shitzu i left the bag with the cashier and said i was going to get the one i needed, when i turned around while i was getting the royal cain food for my shitzu , i was startled by kevin the manager who yelled at me that i was not allowed to exchange the food, he asked if i had a reciept because i was so startled by his remarks , i could not think fast enough , i said i did not have a reciept. i went to the counter where i left my bag that i was returning and found my reciept. i should not have been yelled at and treated like a criminal , i will never go to petsmart in industry while kevin is a manager for that store, he treated me un professional and embarresed me in front of other patrons that were in the isle. he should not be working with people , he is rude, unfriendly, and a bully.

Unbelievable incompetence. First I could not find a staff member. No one was at check out either. When I finally found a staff member, I asked for advantage for cats. He walked me around the street for ten minutes looking for it. Had no idea where it was. Put my other items back and walked out never to return.

I made an appointment to have our new dog, to us, nails and hair clipped. I got an appointment by email the next day telling us that the appointment date and time was set. We arrived before the appointed time to check in and was told that it would be another hour. We waited over 1 1/2 hours and another person that had called 1 hour before was taken in and was worked on while we sat in view of the salon manager and she took others she had in the rear before us. The booking # 100011678500 at the Aiken SC. store. I hope that Mr. Scanlon is advised of this issue in his store. We left due to the poor management of the salon. Yes the store manager was advised of issue, but I did not feel that this issue would be handled internal. LOST ONE more customer!!!

I am shocked at all the negative feedback....so it looks like I am not the only one. I have been a patron for 12 years.I have noticed grooming services slipping, such as hair in ears not cleaned, nails not clipped. I would call and bring my dog back to fix seeing that I had paid for these services. Today I was told I could not go back because they were giving me to much free service. I ask,how could it be free when I paid for it? To make matters worse I heard the groomer tell her manager(?)"hang up on her, she gets what she gets". I am in total aww, and have a hard time trying to figure out what just transpired . What happened to customer service and satisfying the customer? What about providing quality products and services. In hind sight maybe they did me a favor. There are plenty of other dog groomers who would appreciate my business as well as my family and friends.

I've been a loyal customer of Petsmart since I got my puppy at nine weeks and have been purchasing the puppy starter kit ($19.99) monthly upon the advise of a Petsmart employee. I took my puppy in for the free puppy bath. I was informed today that at five months they no longer are considered a puppy for grooming purpose, so I would be paying the difference. When I went to pay for the service, Mike (Clovis, CA Store Manager) was called to assist the cashier. She was a young female and appeared to be new to the position. Mike was extremely agitated and rude in tone and approach. I tried explaining what the groomer told me so facilitate the transaction and he cut me off by asking in a raised tone"IF I LOOK UP THE AGE OF YOUR DOG, I WILL SEE HE IS SIX MONTHS RIGHT!!!". I, and the cashier, became embarrassed by his rude and raised tone. I told him "are you implying that i'm lying to you?". His tone and service became worse. I will never set foot at Petsmart again.

I am writing this in hopes that I can reach someone who can do something about this. I have been a loyal customer of your grooming salons for the last 7 yrs. I have taken my dog Rocky, a silky terrier to your groomers in both Pennsylvania and Ohio. He has always come home looking great and happy and energetic. On Dec 1st i took Rocky to your Willoughby Ohio salon as i have for the last 3yrs, i had been informed that the girl that normally cuts Rocky no longer worked there and that he would have a new girl named Kielaghy (?). When i picked Rocky up he was cut very short, i expected short but no where near that short. Also he looked cute, when i could see him he kept running behind me,very unlike my dog. When we got home he went in my room and slept for the rest of the night. So I didn't notice until the next morning the horrible razor burn on the underneath part of his neck,and under his arm pit and it even looks like she knicked his penis. Now i stood behind petsmart even after all those facebook articles. But now i find myself one of them, yes i posted pictures of my dog on facebook warning peaople to stay away. I am a very dissatisfied customer and will NEVER BE SHOPPING OR USING YOUR GROOMERS AGAIN!

I have pasted my order confirmation email at the end of my statement. I placed an order for a fish tank online and drove 45 minutes to pick it up at the Conway, AR retail store the next evening. I was told that my order had been cancelled. I check my email on my phone and sure enough, I had recieved an email over an hour and a half AFTER I recieved my order confirmation email stating that the order had been cancelled. The sales associate went to get a manager and came back15 minutes later to inform me that the tank was up high in the warehouse area and they were pulling it down. I was told to drive around back of the store for pickup. After I drove around, I was greeted by a man (the manager I suppose) who told me that my paypal account would be refunded and that they didn't have the tank after all. This whole experience at the retail store took around 45 minutes....all to find out that the product wasn't even in the store. I am not trying to bash Petsmart in this comment...I shop there quite a lot. This retail store (based on my recent experience) is very poorly managed...at least it seemed that way to me. I manage our family BBQ restaurant and stay very busy, but just a few minutes ago I called your customer service on this matter. I was told that I am out of luck basically. I will not be receiving the special pricing that the confirmation email affirmed that I could be getting and I would need to wait until the local store had the tank back in stock and go and pay current retail pricing. I worked for ALLTEL/Verizon/Allied Wireless/and ATT over a 12 year stretch prior to taking the Manager's role in our family restaurant so I know a LOT about customer service. I spent 2 years at Alltel providing customer service over the phone. What I recieved recently both at the retail store as well as via your customer service number was in my educated opinion....VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have not went on any social media at this point to vent to the world of my experience. Rather, I am sending this message to what I hope is PETSMART corporate office in hopes that someone in authority will read this comment and take action so future customers will not be treated as I was. When a customer has a valid problem at my restaurant, I FIX IT. Your internet ordering system confirmed me for a purchase and caused me over a 2 and a half hour round trip of useless travel and stress. Even today, your customer service rep could have pulled up my order and offered me SOMETHING for my headache...if not the fish tank I purchased at the price that I agreed (and did) pay via PAYPAL. I have taken time out of my busy schedule to write this because if nobody speaks up...it will not get any better. Stop pushing business to PETCO...step up and offer 1-call resolution to your loyal customers.

The lights in the parking lot at the Pet Smart store at Loop 610 and Interstate 59 are out - this is a dangerous situation for customers since low lighting attracts criminals - also this lot is a cut-through to Home Depot.

My snake was sold to me with an incurrable disease IBD. THE girl told me he was eating regularly so when taking him home and not eating for the 14 days of the return period I was not worried cause it is normal in snakes if they don't feel comfortable yet. However this wasn't the case and after 3 weeks it was clear he had IBD and is dying.

I took my dog to get his nails clipped at a Petsmart that I have been going to for over 10 years. The grooming staff seems to be new. I paid for the paw package (26.00) which includes ear cleaning and teeth brushing. I stood outside the window and watched the girl barely do his nails. She then tried to open his mouth and spray some type of breath freshener in his mouth. She missed and sprayed his face. She started laughing and turned around and saw me watching her. She quickly turned back around and took him off the table. She motioned to me that he was done and I asked "are you going to clean his ears and brush his teeth"? She told me she already did it and she was trying not to laugh. I told her I was standing outside watching her and I never saw her do it. She assured me she did it and I just didn't see her. All the time she was talking to me she could barely contain her laugh. I told her she should be ashamed of the way she treats animals and I would be reporting the incident. She said ok whatever. I will never return to this Petsmart for grooming. Sad that you can't even trust someone to do what they are supposed to do, even when you are watching them.

This is what I emailed to Petsmart Customer Service: I'm looking for the perfect litter scoop. I have tried so many litter scoops over the years, and none of them work well. All the slots are too wide, which causes fragments of litter to fall through, which makes the litter box unclean. I'm still using the same stainless steel litter scoop that I've had since the 80s -- 30 years!!! -- because the slots are thinner, and it keeps the smaller fragments of litter from falling through, keeping the litter box clean. I heard about the Litter-Lifter, but the guy at my local store says it didn't work well for him, and when I checked it out, it looks like the slots are the same size as all the other litter scoops. Sorry this is so long. I wanted to give you all the information in the hopes that someone at Petsmart can help me find a good litter scoop.

Duh! I had already looked at the litter scoops. I've already purchased several of them. I was asking for help finding a litter scoop that works. All of them have wide slots, allowing the litter fragments to fall through, further polluting the litter box. I'm looking for a litter scoop with thinner slots that is sturdy and a good quality. I didn't expect a customer service rep to send me a link that I had already researched before I contacted customer service. What I would like is for Petsmart to get with its vendors to let them know what kind of scoop cat owners want. It isn't just me. There are thousands of cat owners that post on hundreds of forums complaining about the same issue. We're tired of manufacturers dictating what is available. We want manufacturers to create what we want.

Are some people who kill dogs !! They are iresponsables !! They are anti migrants !! mistreat animals !! To me they killed my dog !!! savado carrying at the little hand !! And they called me to go find him and gave him a Stoc and I had to take to the hospital !! And Hasen is not be responsible because it gave Asia hours !! Asher could not entonses nothing !!
