Shopped at Rancho San Diego store today. The girl greeting us as we walked in was such a delight and pleasure to deal with. However, Bransen, a checker, was horrible. His nose was running and he was wiping his hand on our spaghetti squash (disgusting), he was banging our bottles and groceries as well as shoving our spaghetti squash so hard I thought it would break. His appearance was unsanitary. He appeared to have literally just got out of bed without combing his disgustingly dirty hair or changing his clothes. This is suppose to be a job where customer service matters. Terrible attitude. He asked me 3 times if I wanted a bag. I said yes each time and at the end he looked at me and said you want a bag or not, nodding at me as if to say if you do, get bagging your own damn groceries. Ridiculous and disgusting behavior. We then asked to speak to a manager and Jocelyn came up. I asked her for her name and if she was the store manager. She said she was the manager which in fact was a lie as she was simply a supervisor not even an assistant store manager. She was immediately combative and extremely unprofessional. We have just moved to the area and were trying out our local Smart & Final for the first time. They just lost a $1,000.00 minimum a month due to extremely poor customer service. I know they don't care because if they did this would never have happened.
