I just did a chat with Kayla P. on the RCI website. She was so rude and hateful. My phone kept deleting my chats and I restarted them 4 different times. I could not help that my phone was doing that. I tried to explain but she just told me to stop deleting the chats.
It's no wonder everyone you talk that has timeshare and is dealing with RCI, that they are complaining and unhappy.
I started the chat because I want to cancel my membership with RCI. She told me it had expired 11/22 which is incorrect. I paid my membership dues to keep my account active in 11/22 for another year and I have proof of payment.
However that's just an example of the trouble you have with RCI.
I still want my membership canceled. If anyone wants to know why, other than all these problems and trouble they put you through.....its because you can't go anywhere you want to go during tge time yiu want to go even if you attempt to book a year in advance. They cater to Wyndham owners. If you do get to book something that is relatively close to where you want to go, RCI will tell you on the phone that you are oceanfront but when you check in....AFTER they've done git your money and points....the resort will tell you since you are an RCI member and not a Wyndham owner, you'll be across the street facing the dumpsters. This has happened to us multiple times so we are done.
We will be perfectly happy going to our home resort everyone we go in vacation. Obviously we love our home resort or we would've never bought there and kept it all these years.
