Special order MSHT 30213479 either pilfered or sold. This special order was made on 8 March. It came in in two shipments, SKU 600-2670 was piced up on 8 May with SKU 600-2793 backordered for 2 weeks. On 16 and 20 May I called the Marshaltown Store, customer pick up desk to get the status, the employees were not able at the time to find it but said they would look and return my call, they did not. On 18 May I call the vendor customer service desk and was advised the item had shipped on the 17th of May. On 21 May I drove 40 miles one way to the store to pick up the item. The customer service desk could not find it but sent me to the plumping desk for help. The attendant (friendliness) was able to find it had been received on the 18th of May but it was not in the store. The attendant called the manager ( reachabilty, resolution) to discuss it, he asked the manager (Brad) 4 times if he wanted to meet us or talk to me, he did not but said they might be able to talk to the vendor and reorder the item and maybe be able to give us free delivery. I find the lack of customer support by the manager very disturbing and contary to the Menards ethos.
