I have been a automotive parts and motorcycle parts dept. manager for over 15 years. I have been many different Checker automive stores in the past, but dealing with your Kahalui Hawaii store is far by the worst store i have ever been in. Every time i have been in there, not one a employee acknowledges you when come, they seem always to busy to help you even if they are talking to fellow employees. God forbid if they'er texting some one on their phone, you are bothering them. I can walk in a Kmart and get better service there. I dont want seem i am just pointing out Checkers automotive, But as a huge retial chain as you guys are these are ridiculous. I can call for over an hour no one will answer or pick up the phone, but when i drive 5 minutes down the road to thier shop no one is int there. They are all outside smoking next to the front door and even then when i walk in i hear its your turn to help some one. I never ever step foot in that store or i even recomened any one my friends our loyal customers to that location. It's been going on for years and its time to change things especially in this economy.

I went into the Checker Auto on Stockton Hill Rd in Kingman I was helped by the 1st assistant manager, although the parts I was looking for were available the attitude by this manager was dismal, he never used any prohibital language but he made it clear that I was putting him out. If this is the way you are to treat a paying customer, I will consider going across the street to Auto Zone even if the part or parts are more expensive. When I was checking out another employee behind the cash register was listening to loud music and dancing all around so by the time I left I wondered if I had made a mistake purchasing the items at Checker. I will give Checker another chance, but if I run into the same or simular situation I will leave and go else where. I was extremely disappointed by the action of these individuals, although there was a very tall employee that was jolly and helpful while I was there.

Hello. I live in Kingman AZ and stopped by Checker to get e3 spark plugs for my PT Cruiser. They did not have any in stock. How common is that engine? No e3 plugs?! Even the counter protector was for e3 plugs!
OK I can wait until Monday and go back to the store. Then I had to pay for them in advance. For spark plugs?! For one of the most common engines in service today! I would understand if I ordered something specialized like a K&N cold air intake system that cost $250. For the last six years I have shopped Checker while Auto Zone is across the street. This is a dumb policy, and it has made a customer unhappy. Do Better. Thank you.
