I go to the Gold's gym in Brownsville, TX on Sunrise Blvd. I show up at least 20-30 minutes before the spinning class begins so I can get a bike and then proceed to do some free weights to get pump up for the class. I understand they stated there is policy in the gym but if you are at the gym how do you want someone to stand by a bike for spinning class and not get energized before the class. Your staff Arturo had removed my things from the bike and the member had a great body and gave her my bike. I believe that is unfair because I get there on time to get a bike for myself so I can work out but like I don't look like the member he escorted all the way from the front to the class and knowing and seeing the class is full 10 minutes prior before class started he removed my things from the bike to give it to her. When I entered my things were gone and on the front desk. I did advised him that was not right and the policy is first come first serve. Not because you work there you have the ability to change what you want in order for your personal benefits. When I called to ask for the staff's name the front desk staff named Priscilla answered and she was very rude with me and had a attitude stating we have a policy and hanged up. I would like this matter address not be looking for anything free but to be fair all of us as members are there to loose weight or keep our health in good condition but not to use our employment for our personal benefits.

Thank you

I have been trying to cancel my Gold's gym membership for several months and due to working out of town quite a bit and having 3 kids I've been unable to get in to the gym to give a copy of my ID. I called my location and spoke with Lori in New Braunfels, Texas who was extremely rude and would not allow me to fax or email. Do I have any other options to fax or e-mail my driver's license in order to place a cancellation for my membership?

I was trying to resolve an issue with a charge on my account. It has been at least a month and no follow up has been done to help me resolve the charge. Also all messages let during the time the store manager has not called me back. The fitness coach that I originally spoke with was very rude. This has been going on since April 7th and today is the 28th of the month. I really want this to be over.

Haven't used my membership since May of 2015. I kept getting the run around about cancelation. Why do they keep charging my account. I have sent several emails with no reply's. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Poor policies on cancelation, but great policies on taking your money with no regards.

Hello
I am a member of Gold's gym in Hummlestown PA. I would like you to know that on 3/11/17 in the morning I was in Sauna room for about 7 minutes and another member came in to Sauna room & sprayed some liquid on hot stones . It got extremly hot in seconds and smelled some chemicals. Suddenly I felt something wrong with me so I hurridly walked out of room. I felt I was going to fall as I could not breath and felt extremly weak. I came out of the bathroom and called my wife to help me & she came right away. I sat on on of the machines seats before I collapse & then I lost my consciousness. She said she had to hold me as I was going fall off and had lost my consciousness for about a minute or so. She called for help and the lady manager came to help. I started vomitting when I got back to my consciousness and we got some help from the staff immediately. My wife called 911 for help. I know it was the liquid that was poured on to hot stones made me very sick. I was taken to the hospital by the ambulance. I was released after 4 hours in hospital but since then, I have been feeling very weak and not able to breath well. I am suffering now from shortness of breathe ever since. I want someone to get back to me asap regarding this matter please.
Thank you..

I have been a member at the 1246 Austin Hwy gym in San Antonio TX 78209 for about two months. Twice in that time I have attended Aqua Fitness classes and no instructor showed up. (this has happened at least one more time according to my friends in the class) No one from the gym came and told us we would not have an instructor.
When I mentioned this at the front desk on my way out the attendants replied, "No one told us untill just now... we didn't know." Isn't it the managment's job to track their employee's attendance? Wouldn't it be the instructor's responsibility to notify the gym if he or she could not make the class?

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. RUN FOR THE HILLS. THIS COMPANY IS RUDE PREFERS TO PROTECT ITS EMPLOYEES AND DOESNT HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WHATSOEVER.
i came across a bisexual young man in San Antonio. i caught his liking because he would make friendly gestures. I decided to to take him up on the invitation. He immediately bought me a shirt. i soon reciprocated and he loved it. He said he broke up with his girl friend. (big wale up call ( hes bisexual) i ignored it. he had me hook line and sinker. i was just frustrated bc he worked three jobsand wondered how he was to juggle a girlfriend and me. We continued texting and i basically said i can only imagine how your girlfriend is going to feel once she finds out. i would feel sorry for her. Well after not hearing from him and basically rejecting him, he suddenly says youre going to make me wish to do something I'm going to regret. I should have taken the threat more seriously but gave him the benefit of the doubt. I felt bad so i tried to make it up to him. I should of just went on with my life but he soon did a 180 and stalked me by chance in Port Aransas Tx.
He was the first peron i saw when i arrived. i saw him again later that nite. i forgot where i parked and saw him. He saw me and went into a ugly mood. he soon followed me to my car with his buddy and when i turned on the lights he was there practically in front of the car. well two weeks later i decide to do a police and incident report with Golds Gym. He was making hand gestures hitting his fist at me from a distance when i glanced over. An employee told me to do an incident report and i did so. Previously the manager made no reference to an incident report when she called me to her office. but i told hèr my side of the story. She basically played judge and jury. she favored him cause hes white. soon i found myself expelled and my membership terminated. I didnt stalk anyone nor did i thteaten anyone.
I sneaked in one day when the front desk let me in by mistake. So i called the police to see the reason for membership terminatiom and the police report said stalking and harassing their employees. ( go figure)
I had an incident report against me for offering chinese food to an employee ( is that ridiculous? The company allowed it. These employees, both managers and employees are very rude.
they approach you w/o gym uniform and tell u to get off machines w/o explanation. and accuse you of leaving eeights and equipment lying around. (reall 9000 memmbers)and im the one their going to pick on in a rude manner just bc they dont have an intercom system. oh golly what does it cost but $50 for a bull horn ( hello)
well i guess the manager didnt like me approaching her like that. so she had it out for me. to get my membership terminated. Beautiful (sarcastic remark )she did it and came out smelling like roses. well i the innocent customer, with a stalker lost.

My name is Paula and i am extremely disappointed in your customer service at your Lagrange NY lication and with your custimer servuce as well. I took a week with several phone calls to speak to someone about a membership for my son for his birthday and i was contantly blown off not called back etc. I did finally reach someone after 5 failed attemps. I also emailed your company with these same issues and never recieved a responce.
All i was trying to do was something nice for my son who grew out of the weights he was using in his local gym and to wanted to expand his abilities which your facility could accommidate. I am truly disappointed in all aspects of your facility.Customer service should always be number one. I will find somewhere else for him to go and its unfortunate it will not be your place...

I joined Gold's Gym in Asheville and am paying 17.99 every two weeks under the understanding that I would have 24 hr access to the gym and just found out that they have change their ours to 5-11 on weekdays and 7-whatever on weekends. I work in the medical profession and take call and expressly wanted a 24/7 gym. I would like to know how I will be compensated for the lack of accessibility to a 24/7 gym that was advertised. This is false advertising. What will be done about this. I am sure I am not the only person upset

I just recently signed up at Golds Gym in Desoto and I went for the first time this morning at 545 and the gym wasn't open for over an hour after it was suppose to open. The hours of operations is 5 am - 10 pm. I stayed until 615 and no one still hadn't showed up. If I paid my money to get the membership I expect for you guys to be available during the business hours you post on the doors. Point blank no excuses. The lady that signed me up the morning before is discouraging because she blotted out that she didn't understand how people got up so early to workout when she could barely make it there in time for work. That was a sign to not sign up but I gave the gym the benefit of the doubt. If you guys have irresponsible employees working then you all should have someone that's dependable to run the business. This is totally bad for business and unacceptable especially when you dealing with working class people and there time and money. I wasn't the only one in the parking lot at 545 this morning by the way

I recently joined Gold's Gym in Austin, TX, at the 13435 North Hwy. 183 location. After a couple of visits, I noticed that FOX News is the only national news station that is played on the available monitors. Today, I spoke with the sales manager, Troy, who listened to me carefully, and was both professional and courteous at all times. Further, at my request, he ensured me he would present my concerns to management. I have been impressed with Troy and see him as an asset to the business.
Here is the issue: I do not want to see Fox News at any time while I am at the gym. By the same token, I have to assume there are many people who DO want to watch it. Therefore, it seems equitable to do a 50/50 split for the gym's members. My suggestion is to run Fox and and CNN simultaneously on the same number of monitors in each location. This should be pretty simple, and it should be pretty simple at all locations. There is no shortage of available monitors.
As I explained to Troy, I am a VietNam veteran. As such, I am a member of several veterans organizations across the United States, and communicate with many of those orgs via social media on a regular basis. It would make me very happy to reach out to my fellow veterans, who number in the millions, to let them know that you have agreed with this very simple and equitable solution.
To recap, it is my desire and committed goal to see Fox News removed from all Gold's Gym locations, or, most realistically and simply, to include CNN on the same number of monitors as Fox News in each location. I am certain this policy implementation will be warmly received and thank you in advance for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Tom Wells

To Whom it May Concern, At one time I thought Gold's Gym in Montclair, Ca. was the greatest. Now I don't. Since November of last year I have had so many problems. It's like the blind leading the blind. They are unprofessional & the people running the front desk are not trained properly. During certain procedures where they need to inform & explain how things work, they don't. The girls care more about looking cute & flirting with co workers then they do about customer service. I have already sent a e-mail in regards to Gold's because after I froze my account they went and collected the monthly payment which put my Bank Account in the negative. I was able to get the money reimbursed through the corporate office. Last week I walked into Gold's Gym to cancel my membership. I was told by Tony I could not do it there. He gave me a business card for abc Financial, told me to call them. That was how the company handled membership cancellations. That's it, nothing else. So today I call abc to cancel my membership and Becca tells me I cannot cancel because my membership was still frozen. OK, last ,week when I went in and spoke to Tony not only did he not tell me this, he did not unfreeze my account but gives me the card to call. Obviously he does not know his job. Very poor customer service. Now I'm told they'll unfreeze my account so I can cancel my membership but I have to pay $30. For what? I haven't used the gym in over 6 months. On top of that someone from Gold's Gym today called me and said they were trying to collect a debt of $30. This $30 doesn't even go into effect until Feb. 1st. This whole situation is so ridiculous and upsetting. Nobody knows what they're doing over there and I don't appreciate being treated like this. They don't care how they try and get money out of me as long as they do. They did all of this to me after I told them I am unemployed. Scandalous! Please help me. Thank you, Connie Blakkan

Gold's gym looks like a sect - easy to sigh, hard to give up It's impossible to cancel club's membership on-line. It took for my family 2 months to cancel membership in Gold's gym. First, my spouse asked about cancellation in our club, Edmond, Ok. They said, they can't do that in their club, we need to call, and we should notify them one month earlier. OK. We called to the office. But, in January they still charged payment. We called again. It appeared the only way we can cancel our membership is to send certified letter to their office in Dallas. Why we should pay for the service, we did not use? Now we chose another fitness club in spite we have Gold's gym close to our house.

I don't appreciate your janitors or any employe talking totally disrespect full to me I front of people all because I'm connecting to slacker radio.not only in cardio room but a second time at front desk.action should b taken to anyone whom insists on starring down and being rood to any person .ive had contract for 10 years.

Posted by Jim

Can you please look into the problems with the cardio cinema at the St peters mo location. Lots of problems over the 3 years I have been a member. Now it down indefinite with no answers from the manager.

This is some B.S... when I started the gym I was told after six months there would be no cancellation fee. Lies, lies ,lies, now they're saying I have to pay a $50 cancellation fee after six months and that I am signed up for a whole year. I was defrauded. That is very fraudulent. Fraud fraud fraud. I am very pissed off .

I changed my membership to combine to singles into a family membership (Oct 16). I continue to be billed for both the new membership AND the old membership. In Nov I finally got the dual billing stopped by no refund on the excess charges ~65$. The phone number that work don't transfer to ANY office of person, instead I get passed back to the original message...it's an endless 'do-loop'.
