if you use credit card or debit card and you have a good bank if something settles that shouldnt you can protest it by filling out a simple form and your bank or cc company WILL reverse and put money back into your acct, i will not use western union again, they are getting pretty crappy, everyone is in mexico, dubai or somewhere like that, asked cust service in mexico to transfer me to smeone in USA he was very nice said ok and sent me to dubai or pakistan asked that person to transfer me he kept asking why then laughed and hung up. WOW! please stop outsourcing jobs and people refuse to talk to anyone other than someone on us soil and maybe they will get the message, western union you suck!

I cancelled a transaction by myself and I was told that it takes up to 2 months to get my money back. This is pretty customer unfriendly approach and not acceptabe !!! I will therefore no more use Western Union to transfer any money. With that, they lost one customer. The company's behaviour is very unprofessional !!!

I just went to Change.org to complain about the erroneous practices of Western Union. I also complained to Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection and Federal Trade Commision. I will never ever use them again as they took monies out of my bank account on an incomplete transaction I did not submit to completion. Customer service are rude and couldn't understand a word they said. Shameful business practices.

I Sent A Money Order From Western Union And It Never Arrived. When I Tried To Call I Couldnt Understand The Person. They Want Me To Send Them Another 15.00 To Get My Original 35 Dollars Back!!! I find it real irritating when I am trying to send money here in the united states and when I call customer support for online help I get someone that is employed by you guys BUT they dont understand english and dont know what I am talking about. IF you must employ someone outside our country then I feel they should at least be able to understand english and KNOW THEIR JOB. It is beyond my thinking how an american company would rather have employees from other countries instead of keeping our people employed here. I am sorry but it is just somthing I DO NOT understand. I was trying to send money to an inmate here in the states but ran into trouble. IF I could of sent it thru MoneyGram I would have. I am just one irritated customer and would not have a problem telling people to think twice about using some of your online services. Thank you for the help I DID NOT get. I would of rather of sent this to the main office but do not have that luxury. I will only use western union IF AND ONLY IF I must. Do not worry I do not expect you guys to submit this the way I wrote it.

Just wanted to say I will never use Western Union again. I sent $1000 and the person picking up couldn't get the money at three places...the third place said it had to have a middle name listed which meant I had to go back to the store where I sent the money from to get them to add the middle name. They told me it wasn't necessary and tried to contact WU, but was unable to reach a live person. They finally made the change and the money was picked up, but this was hours later. I will use Money Gram at Walmart from now on. I don't think it would cost any more than the $86 that WU charged.

I hate dealing with Western Union but it's the only way I can send money. Their website is slow or non-working, getting through on the telephone is nearly impossible, emails go unanswered, and they have just raised their already high fees for online transactions. AAARRRGGGHHH!

Liers! I have been waiting over 30 days to get my own money back. I gave them cash and now they either can not find it or lie. I was told 3 times by a supervisor I would receive a new MTCN number. They even had me go to a Western Union office to pick up my money in which there was not any record of when I got there (30 miles away). Then I was told they sent a check in the mail. I called to check on that and no they either can not find it at first and then said it would take 20 business days to mail it out. WTH! It is my money I was told I would get the new number and could just go pick it up. After all this I finally got a girl Lia that was very helpful. Maybe they should make her supervisor. She found the money and gave me the check number and the date it was mailed out. The rest of the people there need to be retrained. I hope I never have to use this company again. Money Gram gets my business from now on.

WU has some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I was told by an agent in a live chat that I needed to submit my request in writing to X address. I did and have a delivery confirmation to prove they received it. I got not response. I called CS and was told he would email the "correspondence desk" to follow up on my written request. Still no response. I called 2 weeks later and was told there was NO email service to the correspondence desk and that I could only reach them by fax. I sent a fax with all my documentation. Finally, got a phone call yesterday (after another 2 week wait) from a foreign speaking agent asking what information I wanted. She then hung up on me when I said that the letter she had clearly outlined my information needed request. There is no way to actually reach a real, helpful person.
