Card company signed my husband up for payment protection which he never approved. This program cost a percentage of the total monthly balance/bill. At times the amount would be over $200 for one month. We complained and informed them that we did not sign up nor want this program and they continued to make the monthly charge and never reimbursed us. And of course if the card was canceled we were informed we would NEVER be allowed to recover the losses if found what we said to be true. Catch 22. Funny the program ended and now you must choose to opt in to it. Does this mean that they opted us in automatically before? Nobody should be allowed to auto opt me in anything.
