I also an unhappy SNAP member. I have been a member at the Mattoon Illinois location for well over a year now and possibly 2 years, the gym is way to small for much of anything, the equipment is broke, it is a very judgmental place to work out! I also tried to quit my membership due to me transferring within my job and going to a location where there is no snap fitness, I typed a nice letter with explanation and asked it not pull as of March 1, 2016 I was called at 730 pm last night and told that it will infact pull due to them needing a 30 day notice, the date on my notice is 02/06/2016!!! No that is not 30 days but when I had called to ask what I needed to do to term the membership she simply stated a handwritten notice. So now it will pull as of March 1 and I will pay a membership for a gym I can not use. She did nicely say I am free to use the gym all month of march-Well the problem is I WILL NOT be in the area to use the gym I am paying for. She would not budge and stated it will pull March 1. SNAP you have terrible customer service and you need to put some of your money towards the equipment!
