My paper is late for the second week in a row. The delivery service is unacceptable. I am on the verge of cancelling the paper.
Read the reviews below to see the experience other people have had when dealing with customer service from Chicago Tribune.
I have had a delivery problem with my sunday trib for 5 times now and have had to call customer service each time. Each time they say they will take it to the district mananger but that does not seem to help. They have replaced the paper 3 out of the 5 times within and hr or 2 but not delivered at all twice.
It is now 5 mins. after 9am, over one hour past the time considered late. The delivery of my Sunday paper has yet to be delivered to my home. Just because we turn our clocks forward one hour, due to daylight saving time, that is no excuse to be late. I don't receive my news paper one hour earlier when we turn the clocks back one hour. Why is that? I have to be on time for my job regardless. Just another excuse for poor, poor service.
The Tribune is being delivered to our house at 507 Duneland Beach Drive, Michigan City, Indiana, despite the fact that we didn't order it. We are currently wintering in the south, and whoever is delivering the papers has them accumulating all over our yard, broadcasting to anyone paying attention that we are not home. Please stop the delivery to that address immediately.
I have been a subscriber to the Tribune for 39 years. Why is it so difficult for a paper to be delivered to my home each morning? I can see that my neighbors have their paper and mine is often missing. I don't think it is too much to ask that I receive my paper every day when that is what I pay for.
Where is my paper. It was suppose to be delivered on Sunday after a 10 day hold.
I have been trying for one week to put my paper on vacation hold using your website. The website does not work!!!! And when I call there is no one to help me. I am told that your website does not work. It does not work for any of the things listed under my account. Please have someone call me who can provide technical assistance. This is very frustrating. I have lost track of how many times I have had to complain about my home delivery. I am an 81 year old woman who has been a subscriber for well over 60 years. My health is such that I cannot negotiate getting to the curb to retrieve my paper. On numerous occasions, I have contacted you and the situation is corrected. Now, once again, shortly after I sent my Christmas check to the driver, the paper is no where near the garage door as I have pleaded to have done. Little by little the home delivery has been stopped by many neighbors (including one who fell and broke her hip) unhappy with delivery issues. Please don't make me be the next one.
What Is The Expected Time Of Delivery Under Normal Circumstances. Last Week Delivery Was At 8:30 Am On Wednesday Through Friday. Sunday's Delivery Was At 10:00 Am And Today (wednesday) It Was At 9 Am. Previous To This The Paper Was Here Between 5 Am And 7 Am On The Majority Of Days.
I did not get a TV Weekly on 1/1/16. I called TV Weekly on 1/2/16 and they said they would notify the Tribune, but to ensure delivery, I should call the Tribune. I called the Tribune customer service on 1/4/16 at and spoke with Jackie. She indicated I would receive a copy on the next day. I did not get a copy as promised. I called the Tribune on 1/5/16 and spoke with Peg. She said I would get a copy the next day. I did not get a copy as promised. This has been typical of the Tribune. If the TV Weekly is not delivered on the scheduled date, I might as well forget about getting the TV Weekly for the week. How frustrating to repeatedly call a department, that is allegedly customer service, and repeatedly get no customer service. Why not just eliminate the useless customer service department?
Have not received paper since October 18 called numerous times many e mails still not resolved customer service outsourced to Philippines no local contacts many broken promises to fix delivery issues don't understand why Chicago tribune can't fix problems with local contractors
Due To Rain In My Area, Orland Park, Il., My Paper On 12/23/15 Was Totally Wet, Even With Plastic Covers With One End Open. I Want This Paper Replaced. Why Can't The Delivery Person Put Plastic Covers At Each End Of Rolled Up Papers? This Happens With The Slightest Amount Of Rain.
I would like to talk to someone in regards to a special Christmas event at Cardinal Bernadin Early Chidhood Center called the Posada. The student body ( ages 3-9 years) will reenact Mary and Joseph's journey in search of a place to have their baby. The Posada is a Mexican tradition. It was performed last year at our school and will be performed again on Friday, December 18 at 9:00 a.m. It warrants coverage in the Metro section of the Trib. as it is something to be shared with everyone.
Thank you for your time. I hope that this message finds its way to the proper department.
A response would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
