I read about your store in mineral point Wisconsin. I stand behind them 100%. Corporate greed is something we don't take lightly. Its not just that dollar store, I notice how overworked and stressed the employees are in all dollar stores. I don't feel comfortable shopping at a business that treats employees and the poor in general like trash. You lost this customer. I posted to social media as well.
I use Dollar General store frequently. The particular store I am writing about is store#3328 located in Wagoner, OK on Cherokee Street. Every time I go into the store it looks like a tornado hit it. Stock is left out from truck deliver. Shelves are a complete mess, nothing is in order. I understand manpower shortage. But at least the store should be neat and orderly. Which this store is not. There is not enough people there to put up stock on truck delivery days. How about fixing this problem? It is a easy fix. Then the store would not look like a disaster. It need a better management team there that cares about the store.
Well let me start by saying I went into the DG o. Salem Ave this evening to grab one thing and I went by the freezers and a mouse ran past my foot I said nothing o my because the manager was too busy standing outside trying to harass a girl she had a vendetta with talking outside vs be inside taking care of customers when I came outside I knew the girl was not professional because when I asked for help she said I'll be in there you gotta wait so I said ima call customer service and report the mouse and the manager leaving the store to harass a customer that didn't do anything wrong and the fact she was a manager was terrible because you rather harass people then serve them and did your store or pest I won't be back
I was at store #09768 and used an insurance card for a OTC purchase. The cashier knew exactly what to do so I could use my card. She was fast, efficient and friendly. She did a fantastic job! I appreciated her being knowledgeable on what to do so the transaction would go through. We need more employees like her. She deserves recognition for doing such a good job, excellent customer service.
I am sick and tired of getting over charged for sale items in the dollar general. Maybe it just the one in Prue Oklahoma but I suspect it's not. We have shipped there many times and got to checkout to get a special deal only to find out it doesn't ring up as the advertised price. When you say something to the cashier they just say well there's nothing I can do. They offer to remove the item but don't offer to give you the advertised price so if you want the item you have have to accept the rip off. This is ridiculous. Today it was just a dollar but if 30 people lose a dollar everyday you pocket and easy $900 extra a month. How is this even legal? I will now drive the 30 minutes to another town to go to a grocery store or to Walmart. They have better prices there anyway. Too bad the dollar general is the only store in our town. But I guess that's why our town keeps putting up with it!

I am writing to inform you of exceedingly bad problem with trash at your location. I have had to continually police trash that spills from your area along side of my fence . I am hoping that I have reached to right source to possibly mitigate this neighborhood concern. I thank you in advance for any attention given to this matter.
Stopped at the Burkesville, Ky. Old store location. What a mess! You could barely walk thru the store. The shelves looked like a bomb had went off. If I was a district manager and walked in this store I would have shut it down until store was clean, stocked and safe for customers .
I have not heard from dollar general store district manager,, I have not been contacted back by no one from dollar general corporation. I have no transportaion this store is closet to me right across the street. The manager was and is wrong. I will be contacting a lawyer about this issue with dollar general store in Kushler Ala and the headquarters for no response. Ok have to go to the store because I need things. When I do get arrested for no reason I will sue all envolved
In Logansport,In. We have 5 Dollar General stores and I like to shop all. The one on W.Market has not been honoring the weekly sale fliers as they should. On Sunday I left without a purchase because I was mad. Today I got some flack, but they finally gave me my sale price by doing an override. If the fliers say an item is on sale, then it should be, period.
I wanted to brag on Greg who was so pleasant and assisted me at the dg store #10418. He was very knowledgeable And willing to go the extra mile to help. We need more Greg's at dg and maybe he could manage one for you. I suggest a drive through too!
I don't like having to write about how BAD a store and employees are. But I have no choice.
Your Charles City Iowa store is in NEED of a GOOD CLEANING and EMPLOYEES need to get off cell phones and pay attention to customers.
This store use to be a great place to shop but now I just turn around and walk out.

Just shopped at Dollar General in Gonzales on Airline Hwy Store #01284.
Has the most helpful, most polite young men working there. He was the only employee I saw. I wish I had his name. It was about 6:30 PM on May 10, 2022. He helped me locate some items and was very pleasant. He would be very good at training others. Great customer service skills.
I hope the right people see this and at least compliment him.
I went to two dollar general stores searching for the outlet cord and the 21 piece marker sets on sale for Thanksgiving sale days. They said they never got any in for stock. I am very disappointed especially since I shop dg at least twice a week. Can I get rain checks please?

On 11/17/21 there was a incident @ the Ilion NY Dollar General store! I witnessed a young man getting screamed @ by three different employees for standing in line waiting to cash out! Apparently the employees were not ready to cash anyone out yet? I believe all customers should be treated with respect and kindness but the dollar general employees went out of there way to make a point to a young child that because there are understaffed and not prepared to cash customers out, everyone will hear there frustration!! It was absolutely unfair to the young child in line and everyone in the store!! Please address this issue with all employees @ store # 7080 in Ilion NY...thanks and godbless!
I was in the Dollar General in Quitman Mississippi and I checked out on my phone. This was my first attempt and the employees were unfamiliar with how it all worked so they asked me to checked out there in the store. Now I have 2 Charges for the same order. I added water to the order that the cashier rang up for me so the balance is $2.95+ tax difference. I am on a fixed income and you will see that I shop every Saturday so I can save money.
I love the convenience of Dollar General.
The Store located in Possum Trot KY. Is one of the Best I've shopped.
My question is, how do you train your employees?
Is "Thank You for shopping" taboo?
What about "I'm sorry, the self checkout is unavailable at the moment ".?
I received a statement this past Saturday that I felt was rude. When I approached the management about my encounter, the Female Manager argued with me about the employee. And laughed. With a line of 6 costumers deep behind me.
When I feel she should have said at least "I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry we have the self check open, but it is currently unuseable."
And whatever happened to Thank you for shopping, hope you come back soon. Or we appreciate your business.?
I get the impression that the management is overworked and understaffed.
At times the employees seem annoyed they have to check me the customer out.
I am by no means a difficult person.
This interaction was the last straw for me.
I had my grocery bag dumped 2 days in a row.
As well as a gallon lemonade bag broke because it wasn't double bagged.
I am really interested in how the employees are trained. And what your policies are ?
I shopped local store and on the shelf next to price of candy was an offer for buy 3 and get one free!
I also bought a box of crackers that were terrible and looked at date and they were from 2020! I took back to the store and they offered another box! But when looking for another they were all outdated! I even checked other flavors!
As the young lady mgr.and I passed the candy I showed her the strip that said buy three and get one!Her response to me was that strip is sent from corporate to put on but we dont honor it! I've been in retail for over 40 years and I'm aware things have really changed in this world !But any time a posted it needs to be honored!
Mind you this mgr.was more worried about telling her coworker about her date to Chicago!
But the crackers I exchanged got done with .35 back even!
