On February 28th at least Minutes before closing the machines went down.Customers were told by the Lead Associate to write down there phone numbers and names and they would be given a call back.
I never received a follow-through.When contacting the store I learned items were put back, no customers were contacted back like advised.I was informed it was a courtesy to hold the items.Although it's a courtesy normally when items are held furniture etc. that's by request.This hold was an unavoidable circumstance while customers were shopping and patronizing Savers business.The importance of keeping your word goes along way.I learned Savers Store manager Laurence advised his staff to put all the items back that were not picked up. Even with having customers phone numbers/names.We were not worth the decency of being contacted.
This was unacceptable.Was it so difficult to give 6 customers a courtesy due to this circumstance they had no control over.
No matter if the associate that made this advisement was not there the next day it the message should have been passed along. If there were no customers, there would not be a Savers. Savers should be accountable for what they inform their customers.Money and time could have been spent elsewhere but at that time it was spent there. When calling again to speak with the manager I was advised he was in a meeting around 10am and then told to call him back at 2pm.
I called 2pm and was placed on hold for 8 minutes.
This is not how business should be conducted.
The manager should have had his associate take my number and call me back when he was available instead having me wait on him.Please have professional leadership communicate back with me.

Savers - absolutely Price gouging! Your stores should be reported and shutdown! The person behind the scenes putting labels has no idea...or he has been instructed to put price tags three times higher. I find empty plastic boxes like with dust for $4.99 label. Your offices should be reported. No more donations for you all my stuff will be going to goodwill and salvation army from now on. I will just donate trash to you guys- literally house trash!

I would much rather wait in line for a cashier who can fix problems and check me out than use a self-checkout and have to wait for an employee each time I have an issue (and there's ALWAYS an issue). I just walked out and left a full cart when I could not summon help the third time the system screwed up.

I come to my local Savers DAILY and have been over the course of several YEARS. Today, I walked in with my boyfriend (normally I'm alone shopping), I stopped at the bathroom, and while I was washing my hands, a fully lucid, middle aged, RANDOM lady grabbed me by my hair. My hair is locked, but there is NOTHING that discredits a stranger touching or GRABBING me in the restroom. Not only this, I was later waiting for my BOYFRIEND to come out. (We're both mixed/of color and we dress dark as well- black, tattoos, chains, long hair, non-conservative) Anyways, I was seperating my pile of items from his. I was just about to put a lunchbag down in the cart with a shirt and a candle when a middle aged woman employee stopped herself at the foot of my cart, 2 ft away from my face, pulled the pieces of merchandise out of my hands and said "You should wait to do that after you leave." She refused to leave my side, but turned to laugh with her coworker, clearly making comments and then calling on the walkie. Now they're accusing me of stealing? I moved over another 15 ft before they made more noise. My boyfriend was confused as to why I was so suddenly ANGRY & wanted to leave my FAVORITE store. They had upgraded from one to THREE PEOPLE at the checkout, but now they were all facing and SOLELY watching ME and my BOYFRIEND'S every move as we checked our items. They questioned him and checked him TWICE and still checked his receipt, but their 6 eyeballs hadn't left out bodies the entire time. When I asked for a price check on the SAME lunchbox, they straight REFUSED to sell it to me, clearly stating, "there's no pricers here to price it." I've NEVER heard of that, as I've worked similar positions with similar companies, NOR faced that issue EVERY.SINGLE.OTHER.TIME.IVE.COME.HERE. Seeing as we were clearly stuck in a situation of appearance-based discrimination and ignorant white-suburban-mom bias judgement, I was completely infuriated and basically RAN out with my items (ALL PAID FOR BTW) and straight up cried. My favorite store in the gd world just turned into my worst nightmare.

I had a very rude cashier on July 6 2022 at the coon rapids,mn store.Her name IS TERRY.Ileft her line and used the another and will never go through line again.I did witness her rude behavior to other customers,she should not be working with customers.I have reported the same day and only heard that you got me email.

I am writing to inform the manager of The Savers Health and Beauty, about two emoloyees seen at the Savers Health and Beauty Store, Station Road, Harrow, London,on Saturday 29 January 2022, between 3.30-4.00pm. 1, this person is a female, asian origin, medium quite slim built, medium/shoulder length hair tied back, wore a uniform/clothing and shoes, possibly aged between 20-30 years, till point worker/other, named Priya. 2, this person is a male, asian origin, medium quite slim built, medium length hair, wore a uniform/clothing and shoes, possibly aged between 20-30 years, till worker/other,named Priyank. These persons are trouble makers. Please could you check into these persons and their associates, and for any money/other, from a customer, taken by these persons and between the years 2017-2021, immediately. customer

To Whom It May Concern;

I would like to address several issues that have been taking place and not getting resolved. I have worked for "Savers" for nearly 5 months. It has been a complete disaster. From my first day. Absolutely no organization for my training, to even being sent home early because know one knew what to do or how to train me. So trying to stick it out and give it my best, I made it through what this company seems to call training. And having many questions not answered, to management who just sit in their office for endless hours. Talking on the cell phone, watching tv, or whatever else. Leaving it up to the employees to work like dogs up from and wait on customers. Even when you page a manager, it is most often ignored. And as a front end supervisor, you're stuck doing all the work load. Meanwhile upper/store management sits in their nice cozy aircondishioner office talking and watching tv and videos on their cell phones. I could not even tell you the last time I actually had or was even able to take a break. Working 7-10 hours daily without a single break as a front end supervisor is not legal. I have in fact seeked out legal action also. I have brought this to the attention of store management and upper management, only to be completely ignored. I also would assume this is exactly why the employment turnover is a daily event. Savers will not be able to keep staff when management refuses to help or even come out of their office. The occalial bathroom run happens and maybe a lap of the store is completed, and typically getting barked at orders from store management to clean the store up, when there are endless lines of customers to be rung up and not enough cashiers. This is not balanced at all. Not to mention completely unfair.
Requesting that these issues be resolved asap and not just for this letter to end up in the trash or in a circular pile on a desk. Changes have to be made asap, or the turnover will never end, and legal issues will begin.

i was at saver in boston providence highway norwood mass i went pay for my stuff and as the cashier was ringing my stuff in the manage came over and said that i put a different price tag on the stuff i was buying and very loud that other people in the store could hear her very rude woman she had no no proof that i did anything like that i been going there ever since it opened every day me and my husband go there some stuff had 2 tickets on them but that was not me she just plain right out accused me wrong wrong so yes i said a bad word to her then i said i was sorry but i was very upset and very enbrassed with all the people in the store i payed for the stuff then i said to her forget it i want a refund !!! HOW DARE HER SAY THAT TO ME IF SHE SEE ME DO OK BUT SHE DID NOT JUST OPENED HER BIG MOUTH AND ACCUSSED ME WRONG WRONG!!!!!!!!!

I was shopping and was rang at register. Some of tje items didnt have tags. I now they cannot sell them so i give it to them to retag for next time i go. I was humilliated by your manages. The girl told me that Tony toldher to refuse my service. I aske for a reason and she refused to tell me why. Gave me no reason. Y think that they dont like when customers leave behind some items on the register. But that is right to insult your custmers. I am very offended because i calmly adked for an explaination never raised my voice or was disrespectul. You need to have them explain tome WHY THEY TREATED ME THIS WAY.

I have been a weekly customer at the kietzke location in Reno NV for several yrs. I have just experienced the only bad treatment from any employee over all of these years, and it was from a new manager to the store named Elmer. He priced a non-tagged item which was a scarf from walmart, as $7.99. I explained I could go get another one exactly like it which was $2.99, as most of the scarves were. Not one other scarf was priced that high so I don't understand his reason for that. The main problem I have was his attitude toward me which I have never had anyone there be even close to as rude and unprofessional as him. He also about a minute before I spoke with him, had an altercation with a different customer who left the store without his items because of this employees rudeness. His name is Elmer from store 1122. Because of this new manager I won't be returning to a store I've been shopping at and donating to for 20 years. I would appreciate a response so I at least know he has been reported, thank you.

I had an accident at one of your stores the one in Marlborough Ma. I immediately had a conversation with the manager. He said he would get in touch with the corporate headquarter. It has been too long and I haven't heard from anyone. I notified my insurance right away and they are waiting to hear from you. I would appreciate it if you give this matter you attention. I have called the store many times and the manger tells me I will hear from you.

The savers in Eau Claire WI the manager working there is incredibly rude!!! She bullied and tried to intimidate me based off her saying that I was making a mess of her store!! A store that isn't already well organized and told me I permitally banned from HER store!!! I come to this location atleast every week and never make a mess of HER store for crying out loud. And every week I'm spending money there ontop of hundreds of hundreds of donations I bring there and she pulled me infront of EVERYONE and there was tons of people in there on this particular day and yelled at Me on how I was never allowed back into HER store!! Okay for one is any store allowed to ban someone for quote "making a mess of her store" and when I saw making a mess of her store I mean putting a few items back on a shelf they didn't belong too. Like unbelievable!!! Then two months go by and I decide to go back to this location hoping all had blown over and her comes a completely different employee meeting me at the entrance and says are you and she says my full name and I say yes and she goes you're not allowed here anymore. I begin arguing with her and saying how can an employee ban someone and intimate and bully a customer claiming it's cause I made a mess in her store.. this employee seems to reason with me on the ridiculousness and agrees that I can shop. I am extermely polite and made a purchase now I'm to scared to even attempt to go back. Which is super unfortunate cause this was one of my favorite stores.

I am beyond pissed off i mean beyond my and my girl friend go in to savers on cerrillos rd santa fe every single day and spend $30 to $50 sometimes more no exaggeration,how much is a customer like me woth to your company?,today we were blatantly accused of steeling cloathing the manager miguel who personally doesn't like us because before we had a dissagreement on some plastic tubes that were $10 and he treated me like if i was stupid and didnt know the price of plastic tubes. So the manager in the back understood and lowed the price but that is the reason miguel personally does not like me or my girlfriend. I told miguel that this is bull and discrimination and to check the cameras he said they were! If we did something wrong why didnt they search us???? Oviosuly they would search you if they knew you had there merchandise. Miguel said they they saw a bunch of clothing underneath my girlfriends cloaths but she never went to the changing rooms, you cant steal clothing without putting it on especially weaing tight cloaths thats common sense.why would they not search us? Super fishy if u ask me. I wanted to know who was falsely accusing me but they wouldent tell me, i would think if your being accused that you have the right to defend your self against the person making accusations am i right?? There was another time where there was no tag on a computer monitor and they say either $6.99 or $9.99 on all the resf when they called miguel to the register he tried saying it was $19.99 and beacuse i stood my ground the first time and told him the pieces of plastic tubes are not $10.00 so he has a personal grudge aginst me pretty pathetic for a MANAGER. also you guys get all your items for free donated so the store shouldn't be so greedy on prices. I want something done about this, this is completely unfair and must be racist or something beacuse im asian and ppl think they can push around ppl who are minority. Im half asian but i was born in the usa so i know how things work and how i should be treated if i was accused of steeling. I want him fired for this also i wouldent doubt if there are other complaints against miguel for bad customer service or just being all out rude. I really hope something is done about this thank you very much

I am so disappointed in Savers recruiter and manager that I interviewed for a position in East Providence.

The recruiter was in constant communication with me , finally setting up an appt to meet with the manager Dave, the recruiter notified me he wanted a second interview , asked my preference between two days for the second interview .

I emailed her my preference , patiently waited , and waited , a week and a half later , still no response.

Seriously Savers, an email saying you've decided to go with another candidate would have saved my time and energy wondering about the position and Savers.

The only positive I can think of , I realize now I'm glad I didn't move forward with this company , if this is how you represent the company's view in potential employees .

hi sorry have to make a complaint about the staff at albion centre ilkeston Derbyshirevisited the shop yday i was needing help of a product you sell I've bought the tresama treatment conditioner before one of the staff was not helpful at all er attitude was not nice and also i was lookin for another product was to scared to ask what shelf it was on couldn't get out the shop fast enough think all the staff needs training up to be nice to there customers don't think a smile would hurt either once again I'm sorry having to make a complaint won't go in the shop again my regards kath taylor

Went into the store; associate greeted me. I was shocked. The store was very clean. When I checked out the Cashier Mary so professional and very friendly with her customer service. We need more people like her in some of these other businesses.

Plymouth Mass Manager Is A Middle Aged Man Who Is Extremely Rude To Customers. I Would Go So Far As To Call Him 'nasty.' He's Always Miserable And Let's You Know He Hates Working There, I Cannot Believe He Hasn't Been Fired For That Alone. On January 17, 2018 At About 11am He Was There And I Said To Him, Can I Get Two Dollars Off This Item Because It's Cracked And I'm Buying A Lot Of Things Here Today. He Simply Said 'no' Stormed Off Without Even Looking At What I Was Talking About --- I Saw Him Do The Same Thing To Another Young Lady. Not Only That, He Stood Right By The Door While It Was Snowing And Watched A Woman Carry Out Three Heavy Pillars To Her Car Alone, She Parked By The Door And He Didn't Even Offer To Open The Door Fo Her. She Had To Be In Her 60s And He Stood And Watched As She Strugged....did I Mention It Was Snowing. Anyway I Saw Her Fall And I Don't Know If She's Doing Anything About It Or Not But She Has A 'lawsuit' On Her Hands There.

I had a terrible experience in the Saugus MA store. I emailed the regional manager Tom Ernst on Aug 22, 2017 and got no response. Then I called Customer Service a week later (Aug 29,2017) and was told a "file will be opened" regarding my complaint and that someone would get back to me. It is now Sept 26, 2017 and I have heard absolutely nothing from anyone- neither email nor phone. I am now calling customer service yet again.

I want to express my experience with calling customer service. There was some kind of confusion when I established my account, in that it did not recognize my phone number or email. The gentlemen I spoke with, Jeremy Calanche, was of great help. He set up a new account for me and was polite and totally helpfull. Thank you Jeremy for your help!

A lot of people I know including me use to shop at Savers in Danvers, MA on Endicott St. But, now there is someone working there that is keeping everything and anything of any value. I have witnessed employees with bags of items being brought to their vehicles. Nothing but garbage is left.
