We just had the rudest people on your nz phone whom would not listen to what we were saying we had money taken out of our credit card $55 for a product we don't even what and when we rung they wanted to charge us $99 to cancel we disputed this and said we haven't receive anything no training there I will make sure family and friends never deal with this company again

On 15/06/2017 I paid NZ$337.56 on-line for two AVG Download products but cant get these to download, (I am elderly and not too clever with this computer stuff). I would really appreciate if someone could phone me on NZ and talk me through how to get this download successfully completed. I am normally available between 09.00am and 09.00pm. Or perhaps there may be some NZ office number I could contact.

The above was from AVG who sent me an email stating they had no other options to help me when their Anti-Theft Software locked my LG G5 thereby rendering it totally useless.
I tried with my Service Provider and with the Manufacturer LG to have a factory reset done on my G5 but because AVG's software was the cause of the lock down thereby becoming the 'third party" in which neither my Service Provider nor the Manufacturer could do a factory reset and unlock my device.
AVG states "we are unable to help you as we do not have any options to do a factory reset."
AVG had the gall to say "We understand your frustration at this moment. We hope you understand the limitations."
AVG does not understand the frustration they cause for their customers therefore AVG is not maintaining nor living up to their motto
Sad thing is my cell phone will send emails showing myself trying to break into my phone yet when you request a password reset it presents no email AVG's Anti-Theft Website cannot locate my G5 cannot reset the Security Pin. How then does my device keep getting emails at an email address not registered with the device as the product was purchased for my PC the Android download was an additional option offered by AVG to protect all my devices.
FRUSTRATED to the Nth degree is an understatement. AVG, at least, owes me a replacement LG G5 (my current one was purchased 01/2017 still under warranty) still brand new).
Service is not their first priority nor is keeping their customers happy.

Stay away from AVG. Can't get past technical support to complain to someone in head office. Like someone else who left a review, AVG is more like a virus than an anti virus software. Worst technical support of any company I have dealt with.

Cancelled June 2015, was charged renewal in December 2015, contacted them again even though they had confirmed my original cancellation and just received a renewal on my CC Decemeber 2016.

This is not a normal request for refund. Your software created a virus and your tech support team not only could not fix the problem but created a situation that rendered my system useless. When I asked them on several conversations to escalate the problem to upper management I was refused. I insist on a complete refund and suggested you reimbusement me for the $340.00 I had to pay for an outside source to fix my problem.

If I don't get the satisfaction from AVG I will have no choice but to take whatever action I deem necessary.

AVG has the worst customer service I have ever found with any company. They sold one of my customers a 2 year subscription and have so far refused to give him a key so he can install the product. I have spent over 2 hours on the phone and another hour on their chat line without any response. When I phoned I was sent in circles. There tech support is terrible and they have no idea how to solve the problem. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your renewed my contract and took the renewal fee 2 (two) months before the renewal and I have asked the County Court to take up the case and will send it to your UK registered office. Just adds more for your company to pay.

Every company should offer customer support re billings and refunds with human beings. AVG does not and Customer Care should have the ability to assist customers on the phone.

your avg is killing my computer. it won't let me uninstall it. it keeps me from accessing the internet. it is more like a virus than any virus i ever had. i'm not using proper punctuation because i've spent HOURS trying to install Mcafee, but your damn avg keeps blocking everything but the vault in fort knox.pleasaeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tell me how to get rid of your horrible program, and there is no way i will upgrade.

H O R R I B L E communication ergo customer service: called customer service using number on web site: referred to another number=8007124698630 nothing but advertisements for different companies. They have you push pound icon to avoid commercial but it takes you to a different commercial. After 7 commercials I used their business phone. Same thing there. Will not be doing business with this company again

AVG is the worse company. The are employ this company with rude, crude, and dishonest people. Not a shred of integrity. When you ask questions that are complicated or something they can't answer you suddenly hear a Mr Dial Tone in the form of quiet clicks.

I have tried repeatedly to speak to someone about my AVG account. Money has been taken from my bank account and I need it returned as I have cancelled by AVG virus checker. The account was not due to be renewed until 21/6/16 and the money has already been taken.
I am very very disappointed with the difficulty of trying to speak to someone about this. Every phone number on your site either is not available please try later or is a wrong number.

We found out that it interfere white my internet.

That for that it is canselt by June 5 2016.

No renewing in November 2016.

Long Term Anti Virus Customer Always Has Trouble Reaching Avg For Tech Help When I Actually Buy Anything. . This Morning I Stupidly Forgot How Unresponsive The Company Is And Bought Avg Tune Up--which I Need--i Then Got An Email Telling Me To Put In Some Code---a Code A Never Received--in Order To Proceed To Activation.(ie Step One) . Then It Said Contact The Avg Store To Buy A Code---eh? Wot? I Just Bought The Tune Up And Now Have To Buy A Code? I Then Clicked Onthe Avg Store To See What Was What---and Guess What? I Got Noting!! I Have Sent Endless Emails--but No Reply All Day---this Company Stinks At Customer Relations---time To Change Vendors For My Anti Virus And Tune Up Downloads....

No Wonder Its Rep Has Slid Slid Slid...

All Very Annoying---and Ahuge Waste Of Time... If I Dont Hear Froma Real Person In 24 Hrs I Will Cancel The Payment ................and .

First I have talked on the phone 5 times and 3 letters. I'm being harassed by having to talk about the same issue over and over. Syed in customer support is a sadist who continually wants to spin this problem in his direction to avoid a refund. I have a crushing migraine as I write this. I got visibly upset on the phone. This man is pure evil. 3 times I've talked with him since only to rehash the same story to no end.Each time it's to retool his response to shore up an answer when the company receives these complaints. I'm fed up and told him today I was filling formal complaints, with you, attorney general offices and Canada wherever I must go to bring attention to the deplorable business practices of this organization that may be committing fraud and stealing. I think I only have 1 complaint about a business since the invention of computers and the internet the last 40 years. I don't do this or forums because I make every effort to resolve through problem resolution processes.My problem with AVG is quite simple.
I have been a customer of AVG for six years until last month and had been happy with there products and services. In April 2014 I purchased a renewal for AVG security and pc tuneup for 2 years until April 2016. Something happened in 2015. I received a popup that my service plan was expiring. I renewed again my subscription for another year. I did not review my service plan prior to this. If they said it was time that was good enough for me. Then I receive popups in April 2016 that my plan is expiring again. I tried twice on the phone and in letters to get customer service to please don't let the service lapse.I need full protection,we can work this misunderstanding out. There was no sense of urgency. Internet security is at the top of the most important things to protect in my life. It expired. Anyways I'm going hey wait a second. I look through my records and see that the company double billed me between cycles.. The day I extended the service plan with AVG in August 2015 I should have been told "' no, you already have paid for our service which is valid until April 2016". Now how could the situation be any simpler then this unless you don't want it to be? I'm ashamed of the yelling and my inability to get across to these people properly that,It doesn't matter who said what,who's to blame,how it happened. I no longer want to do business with this company. I did ask for a refund with the 30 day refund policy. I find it disturbing in there drop down menu for reasons for a refund they actually have a entry for double billing. Reading forums across many domains it seems suspicious that others by means of this pop up notice or solicited e-mails they are getting people to pay, keeping the money when challenged, making the customer service process a total nightmare on purpose. I can only imagine the millions they make banking money like mine until the last minute like insurance companies do,to gain the interest off the situation.

I canceled subscription on May 1 and AVG charged my credit card on same day. I have cancellation confirmation. Do not trust AVG. KAY HOMAN. Going to protest charge in my card.

After cancelling my subscription with AVG, AVG continues to bill my credit card fraudulently. AVG refuses to cancel my subscription.

I cancelled AVG after their virus protection failed and my computer got infected. I am starting to hear that people who have free AVG are all getting infected. This is the third year after which I have cancelled that they have billed me. I believe AVG will never stop billing me no matter how many times I call them and get the billing removed for that year.

WARNING: AVG will NOT cancel your account and their virus protection does not work.

I have a friend who is a computer expert. He recommends and installed the free version of AVG. Three times now, I have had the free trial of the upgraded version (which I never even requested). I constantly keep getting pop-up messages, telling me that my free trial has expired. All I want is to go back to your free version.

I have been trying to cancel this for the last 18 days now I have been trying to reach customer service ( which their is not one to be found ) for the last 3 1/2 hours I would never use AVG again what a rip off cannot get them to stop auto renewal next call BBB

Avg Notified Me That I Ave Three Trojans. My Avg Anti-virus Says -no. You Don't>you Are Fully Protected. This Is A Bogus Claim To Have Me Buy Avg Tune Up. Since You Don't Have A Phone,i Am Thinking Of Doing Away With Both. I Know My Tune-up- Is Out Of Date-and Will Fix It At My Time-stop The Daily Alarms, And The False Report Of Trojans.
