Return process for on line orders is horrible. The information I got on website was in accurate. The was no packing slip with return information. Instructed to send to nearest facility to me but when I called 800# to clarify address told to send to facility recieved from which was not closest. I mentioned to representative that return policy was horrible and she stated that they DID send me what I ordered (I would of hoped so)and that was just the way I would have to return items. After seeing ALL THE BAD REVIEWS and I do not have the option to return in store since it closed, and I have no confidence sending items back and actually getting my refund AND in a timely manner! I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM JCP EVER AGAIN!!

The JC Penny return process sucks. Unable to understand the guy, finally hung up, can't speak to a live person... Never purchase online products.

Can't get to a person. I follow all the steps to speak with a person.... it didn't work.
I was need to ask about my warranty on my COOKS pots and pans. the non-stick is coming off. if you can give me the manufacture phone number.

I ordered slippers on Feb 19. delivery date was supposed to be 2/26. fine, didn't receive although tracking was on e-mailed to me. del date chanted to 3/9. fine. didn't receive then either, call to check on them. was finally told they were out of stock and my card would be refunded, to this date all that has been refunded was the $8.95 shipping, not the amt of the slippers of $27.45. which I was told on 3/9 my card would be refunded for the whole amount of $36.40.

I have been a customer to your location in Ashland, Ky for years but I'm shocked by your salon manager. She recently fired four of her top stylists for doing each others hair. She has had hair extensions and false eyelashes put on at no cost to her. As a matter of fact one of the young ladies she fired was the one that put her extensions on as well as her eyelashes. When I expressed my concern on their web page she had me removed from that site. This is not only wrong it is very unprofessional. I will no longer be a gold card member of your company. I contacted jcp customer service to get info on jcp rewards and bonus bucks, and the rep who said his name is Taylor in Columbus Ohio, was totally rude and unprofessional. The guy did not listen to what I was saying he kept interrupting me and speaking over me. His comments and rudeness lead me to believe he was being racist against me, probably because I don't have an American accent. I have never had such an unpleasant interaction with any of Jcps rreps before. He threatened to hang the phone up on me and I told him it's ok I would do the survey after, he said oh well you won't be able to do that because he has put the call through for that. I mean really is this the type of people jcp hires and is this how they treat customers. I am a regular good paying jcp customer and I am extremely annoyed that a person can treat me this way, this is horrific. There are no words to explain the hurt and pain of being treated this way. I hope someone at higher authority sees this and does something about it.

I have been trying to change my address through customer service and in the store. Your customer service is TERRIBLE. The in store personnel refers me to the number on the back of my JCP card. Currently I am on hold listening to repetitious music and a message assuring me my call is important. All I need is to talk to a person and not a menu that does not offer the solution to my request. In answer to the questions regarding friendliness and knowledge how can I respond if there was not a person to speak with? Your system is not usable. Hire real people that are helpful. I Visited Your Jcpennytroy Mi48083 Store To Pick Up And Exchange Items. I Met Two Of Your Finest Customer Service Associates Laronda And Palinee. These Two Ladies Went Out Of The Way To Help A Male Customer That Was At Another Register From Me.i Told Them That I Would Make Mention To Jcpenny For The Awesome Service.i Did Not Keep My Promise Until Today When I Was Watching Joyce Meyer Daily Devotional Show On My Computer.joyce Talked About How It Took Her 2years To Be Obedient To God To Just Put Her Grocery Cart Away At The After Use,yet She Was Praying For God To Use Her In A( Greater) Way,and She Wasn't Obedient In Something As Small As This.i Immediately Thought How I Hadn"t Taken The Time To Write This Note Of Thanks To These Two Associates.it Took Hearing This Message Today,as I Know That Everything Is In God's

I really didn't care for their customer service. Called about an order that I was never able to go pick up and was being sent back. They said to wait a few more weeks which I didn't like but I did. Then over 5 weeks later called and kinda off for run around then she admitted they received it back a few weeks ago. But they never issued a refund till I called, which I didn't like. My number one thing with company's is customer service and think theirs is lacking. They messed, I'm up buying new house and need allot of stuff but not from them don't need the hassle.

I had placed an order on line. Went to the store at oak park mall in January to pick it up. There was no record of my order. The sales person that helped me. Was so patient with me and so kind. , helpful, suggested what I should do. To be sure I was not charged for it . I went back sgain because the telephone person told me to . The sales person (Rhonda). Was so helpful she could not have been more kind and helpful. It was on a lSunday . I hope you will tell her what a great person and good job she did . Hard to find a sales person that. Does such a great job and helpful to a customer that has a problem.

Horrible Service when ordering online. I placed an order on Feb.10, 2018 for 5 items and paid for delivery by the 15th. Two items were delivered on the 14th in separate packages. One was not the size I ordered. When I called customer service I was told the other items would ship on Feb 21 even though my tracking info says the 15th. Apparently the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at J C Penneys. Customer service said all they can do is refund the amount I paid for shipping and I'll just have to wait until the 21st for my items. I tried calling the corporate office and you have to type in the name of the person you want to talk to but any employee name you type you get a "not valid" response for. Be Smart - shop somewhere else. Now I also get to pay for gas to go to my local store to return the item that was the wrong size or I can pay for shipping to send it back. Nothing like paying for their mistake!

I have never been so frustrated with a company. Trying to order from the fantastic sale today and it states you ship internationally but ordering online will not accept my order. Get with it and make it user friendly for a Canadian shopper

False advertisement in your recent ad has lead me to not want to shop in any of your stores. This also leads me to believe your company is not interested in what makes your customers want to come back. Also doing the stupid survey is not going to want me to come back either. I will let all my friends, relatives, neighbors and whomever that asks what I think about your store how I really feel about it. And in a small community word of mouth gets around. This might be a deal breaker for your store here. It certainly is for me. In closing instead of trying to make a dollar why don't you go back to trying to somehow please your customers. That way maybe they will want to come back to your store. Just a smallest assistance and not just an operator telling me that isn't store policy and no I wouldn't be able to speak to a supervisor or manager.

After 42 years of having a JCPenney account, and spending many thousands of dollars at the stores and catalog, I closed my account. I will no longer shop at Penneys because the customer service has progressively gotten worse. They used to have some knowledgeable experienced associates, who have gradually been replaced by "Burger King" quality employees who have zero customer service skills. The catalog department is unorganized, does not send confirmations, inconsistently includes packing slips, and one order may arrive in 5 different packages over the course of a week, with no notice such as "This is part of your order...". The crummy clerks say they cannot tell you what the balance on your account is, or verify your account number if you do not have your card! The Tallahassee, FL store is dying a slow death: it's time to pull the plug;.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life, 15 representatives, 5 Supervisors and still all I need is to show I have paid off a account opened in December 2017 and PIF January 2018 they sent the credit bureau a letter that i closed the account but still owe the money this is insane it is pif.

Why does it take 45 minutes to reach customer service on the phone!!!!! I will never order from you again. Ordered king size pillows and got standard and now cannot reach anyone. i am an hour from the nearest store!!!!

Hello...i have a pair of totes boots that i bought on Nov 2 and it have receipt. The boots clearly say waterproof but only the foot part is..once the snow gets above that part boots become totally soaked..am i eligible for a refund ...please advise..thanks

What's going with the Superstition Springs store in Mesa AZ, I have always enjoyed shopping there. It has turned into a nasty giant yard sale, cloths are stacked on tables, hung on racks so tight together you couldn't find anything nice if you tried, it is just nasty. I am done, I see this store closing before long

I am so upset with JC Penney in Danville, Va.My husband & I went there this morning for the 10 dollar coupon giveaway.The girl at register was about to give us our coupons & the other woman at register said they are out of coupons.I plainly saw a stack of them.Funny thing was The couple (black) behind us ..they gave them 2 coupons but we were told they were out.We are (white).Needless to say I was VERY upset.This kind of behavior with the employees is uncalled for.I was planning on getting clothes with my coupon but I took my business elsewhere.How Dare them!Racist people!

I purchased a jcpenny gift card on 12/11/17. Today is 12/19/17 and it still hasn't left the warehouse tet. What kind of company are you running. I should have ordered from Macy's. I need this by Xmas, if course. Just terrible!
