This should be called: Toshiba customer non-service. Only time you can talk to a real person, they try to sell you something or are unintelligible.

Wow ,I have a 50 in flat screen yr & 1/2 old wasted an hour n on the computer & phone yesterday just to ask a question & you have no help??!! Just to let you know it will be a cold day in hell when I buy any thing with your brand name on it

How do I reach someone?? Apparently these phone #'s do not connect with someone, just hold and forever hold.
I have a laptop and the M/S Win 7 code numbers have faded on the sticker on the bottom of the machine. How do I get Win 10 upgrade without readying these numbers?
I am looking for help to open my DVD drawer..I have old Toshiba D-VR5SC DVD/vcr recorder-player,but suddenly it will not eject the DVD...I think the DVD is damaged in some way,but I have tried everything and will not eject....unplugging overnight,re-booting,etc...took cover off,but I ain't messing inside there...so any ideas??
While on hold for over 15 minutes, I read the reviews and the lack of customer service and decided to give up...like everyone else, I will NEVER buy another Toshiba product. The tv was less than 3 years old and it just clicks when plugged in, sound is coming from the top center of the back of the tv... the recording said it may be a wait time of more than 5 minutes...it is now beyond 20. I will hang up and will use it for target practice but I will leave in my yard for everyone to see that Toshiba is nice lawn art but useless as a tv.
I just needed a spare battery for my laptop. I contact customer support to make sure I got the right one. I didn't. After many tries of being put on hold or just plain hung up on I finally reached someone. The said it was my fault becaus I placed the order. Their representative is the one who said this would work. They also say that that can't refund my money back until they receive the battery back. So, I am without a battery, out over $100s, got yelled at by a supervisor that said it was my fault and not theirs. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER TOSHIBA PRODUCT AGAIN!
My initial phone call was just to find out what the mailing address was, so I could send a laptop in to be repaired.
I kept getting told that they could not give me their mailing address unless I "selected the second option to ship something," that way "they didn't have to be responsible for anything while it was being sent in."
Customer support's knowledge of the English language was beyond horrible. I had to ask several times for them to repeat themselves, and even then they did not want to give me their address without telling them that I was going to send something in.
I purchased a 58" TV less than 6 months ago. I had it replaced already once because the picture was slow in processing and did not look right. Within a month of the TV getting replaced the power just went out. Toshiba tells me that this is a common problem they apologize but will order the new parts....this was to be 2-3 weeks.... again this is crazy for a brand new TV... After 4 weeks no word from them I call in again and am told sorry it is on back order probably another 2-3 weeks. No offer to do anything to satisfy the customer and when I got upset I was told we cannot accomplish anything for you at this time, we will call you when the parts arrive and then hung up on me!!!! SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! I will never buy another product from Toshiba and suggest that NOBODY purchases from them either. I feel like I have wasted thousands of dollars!.
Unfortunately, I must agree with the other reviews of customer service from Toshiba. I have a Toshiba sound bar that stopped working after 3 months. It is still in warranty. I shipped it back to Toshiba at a cost of almost $100. After 3 months, it was returned to me, unrepaired. I have spoken with 7 Toshiba customer service agents, all in the Philippines and was either shunted to another agent or lost the connection. Everyone apologizes, but no one solves the problem.
The moral of this story, DO NOT BUY A TOSHIBA PRODUCT!
Tried calling customer service with a problem with my vhs/DVD player that is less than 3 months old, and does not work. Kept getting put on hold, transferred to different numbers . Or getting disconnected after being on hold for 15 minutes. Never got to talk to a correct person
good day sir, last night I was told to update ALL my drivers so I did I first updated my Intel Core I5 driver and after that I was going to update my Geforce gtx 670m, when I launced the updater program I had downloaded from the Nvidia website it told me that I don't have a Nvidia graphics card anymore?? So I uninstalled it and downloaded it again but now the Nvidia website also tells me that I don't have a Nvidia graphics card?? I'm freaking out atm and don't know what to do!?!?
