I sent a letter on the 9th. of march 2016 and have not heard anything back? I send it to the research department regarding my loan in 2008 with beneficial. That loan should have beeen paid off by you because I had three insurance coverages.And you only paid for one.now because of this my credit score has been affected for year's.The loan number was .Look at it and straighten it out please.The loan was sold to someone else and now second round has it.

I've been trying to reach a live person at HSBC for the past 2 days
Even after it says to hold once you have a rotary phone it kicks it back to where you must press a button or it will hang up on you!
I hate that everything is so damn impersonal with every branch hiring less tellers and more ATMs! I'm on my 40s and I hate having everything automated
Can't ask a damn machine a question !!!!

The Worst Customer Service!!!!! How About Adding Some Additional Numbers On Your Website To Reach The Correct Dept. I Get Hung Up On If A Live Person Can Not Answer My Questions.

Hi, I have been trying to reach you by phone. I entered my ATM card number, my account number and my husbands ATM card number and they say these are all in valid. I have a debit on my account from HSBC but I don't know what the purchase is. Please get back to me. Thank You

I wish I read these reviews before applying for a mortgage with HSBC. They are the most incompetent, unprofessional and inattentive group ever! They assigned us a mortgage consultant and a loan processor, we are unable to reach either one. I called the branch, the customer service hotline and the mortgage services. I keep getting transferred without any progress. Even with our excellent credit histories and a 20% down-payment, the process is taking over three months to complete. We're told one thing will get done this week, instead it takes them a few weeks to complete. They impose these non-refundable fees that you're responsible for even if you don't close with them.

As first home buyers, when we first approached our mortgage broker, the guy seemed very professional. Now that we're in the midst of the process, we can never get a hold of him. I've been calling the branch where he works for the past two weeks now, and it just goes to voicemail.

Stay away! Our frustration level has skyrocketed and there's no one to complain to about this at HSBC. I've contacted their management, they promised to call back and they still haven't. Terrible service all around at HSBC.

What Is Wrong With This Bank? Their Automated Service Don't Give You Any Opetion. I Just Stop By To The Branch No One Has Any Knowledge. I Would Never Do Business With This Bank. Their Customer Service Is Really Sucks.

They Hire High School Graduate With No Knowledge At All.

This bank just plain SUCKS can never get through to a live person. Every time I get to automated system it drops my call. The Better Business Bureau needs to be notified.

How do I speak with a customer service representative to get pay-off info for a customer? I only have a SS# and DOB but having no luck contacting anyone. Please help. Thank you

Have been on hold for an hour; finally get a representative and they tell me I have the wrong number. The internet lists a phone number strictly for auto loans but when you dial it, you are told the number is not in operation. HELP!!! I need to talk to someone about the payoff on a 2002 auto loan; have traded in the car and the car dealer needs verification from HSBC that the loan is paid.

I been trying to get in touch with HSBC for four months ...contacted by email.. asks them to send a statement they sent me a code for calling which doesn't work... so I resent now I'm waiting ..as my account probably increasing total with late fees and interest ..has any one figured a way to get in touch with them...??

Have been trying to pay my bill online or by phone for two weeks. Online won't let me in and phone system constantly malfunctions. Completely impossible to get through to a person no matter what method you use or button you push EXCEPT to report a stolen card. And then, if you don't really have a stolen card, they transfer you back to the electronic system. Will be cancelling my card after having it over twenty years.

My Mother Died In 2008 And I Went Thru Divorce I Had Not Paid Hsbc Bank I Understand Them Filing In Small Claims.i Paid Them In Full Aug 23,2011 Thru A Firm Holloway And Moxley Montgomery Al The Problem Is They Filed A Lien On My Property For 1,400.00 That You Forgot About And I Am Getting A Lawyer Because In The State Of Alabama That Is Double Dipping Now Im Going To Sale My Property And Hsbc Bank May Coast Me Thousands Of $ I Am Hiring A Lawyer Thank You

My card expired 7 months a ago. I have been trying to get someone to help me to no avail. When I call the customer service number I am bounced around from. Press 1 press star press pound and bAck to the beginning. I cannot get. Real person to speak to. The frustration of all this is I live in another state so I cannot go into the bAnk to talk to a live body. What a mess. I depend on my card a great deal.

Wow this is unbelievable! For the past 4 days I've called them a few times every day and let the "please wait as we value your call" message run for 40 min and never got through! They just now shut down the credit card website and I need information to sign up on the new site, so basically I have no way to make a payment!!! This is totally unacceptable!

I Have Had My Accts At Hsbc For Many Years I Have Always Loved The Service In The Branch Sept 12 2013, On This Day The Line Was Long And As Always Slow Even Slowwer (clocks Were Removed So Costomers Cant Keep Track Of Time) Since They Cut The Windows Down To 3 One Is For Buiss,1 Premier ,1 For The Rest. Arfter Getting To The Window I Say Who Do I Complain To About This. After The Teller Tells Me Corporate Made These Changes The Manager Can Give Me The Number I Proceed To The Manager He Tells Me I Can Complain To Him So I Do He Starts Lying To Me I Remind Him Im In This Bank 2x A Week He States Premeir Costomer Get What They Deserve I Should Put 100.000.00 In The Bank. I Told Him He Can Go (profanity) I Reached For His Buiss Card He Snatched The Whole Tray Of Cards I Asked Him What His Name Was, He Gave Me First Name Then I Said Whats Your Last Name He Said None Of Your Buissness So I Reply (profanity)and Stormed Out .my Co Worker Was Still In The Bank She Told Me He Had My Acct Numbers From The Teller So I Went Back In And Wanted His Name So I Can Call And Complain He Said He Was Gonna Call The Cops I Said Please Do, But I Seen Another Batch Of Cards Behind Him So I Snatched Them He Chased Me Till I Put Them In My Bra He Continued Behind Me Calling Me A Two Bit Lowlife .however When I Reach Home I Called The Costomer Service Number And Made A Complaint ,and Was Informed This Is Not Hsbc Policy And How Sorry They Where I Was Treated This Way And At No Time Should He Have Refused To Supply Me With His Buiss Card. So Today In The Mail I Receive A Letter From The Manager Saying He Is Closing My Acct. So I Call The 800 Number And Im Told He Has This Right I Really Dont Understand Is the manager is Right That Only Premeir And Buissness Is The Only Accts That Get Respected In Your Bank .

currently on hold with customer service line for over 20min now. tried yesterday for almost an hour. I have never experienced such poor customer service from a company. I am VERY happy to say my call is regarding closing the account!

It Cost My Husband And I Three Hundred And Seventy Seven Dollars And Six Weeks To Close Account And Transfer Money To Hsbc Account In Australia.
Deal With Them At Your Peril Worst Bank I Have Ever Dealt With.

This was useless. I am consumed by the time it takes to get an accurate number, then, the ability to reach a person is nearly impossible. If I do reach someone, I DOUBT they will be able to help me.

We had to file bankruptcy to keep our home because HSBC would not return our calls or allow us to modify our loan when they finally did to keep out home of 12 years. Only my wife filed for bankruptcy, but my credit is also srewed up as if I filed bankruptcy. We have not been late or missed a payment in the last 18 months, but we still can't get them to report to the credit companies that we are up to date on our mortgage payment. Can't get a warm body on the phone at all, everything is automated. There has to be another way. on top of that they have closed all of there mortgage componies in the state of Virginia.

Not recognizing acct# or social security# over automated phone service. Tried website to pay bill on line but website is under construction. What a joke this so called " company " is.
