As we journey through our IVF process, Progyny insurance has been instrumental in coordinating our treatments and tests. While other providers seamlessly work with Progyny, our recent experience with Quest Diagnostics was disappointing. While my own billing inquiry was swiftly resolved, my wife encountered unprofessional conduct when attempting to address billing matters, leaving her emotionally drained. Moreover, I personally reached out to Quest Diagnostics, recalling previous successful interactions, only to encounter exceedingly rude customer service that abruptly hung up on me before the billing issue could be resolved. Consequently, we have chosen to discontinue our association with Quest Diagnostics and feel compelled to advise others against utilizing their services, as their customer service failed to meet our expectations.

To Whom It May Concern;

I would like to file complaint about the service at Quest's lab located on Quimby Rd, San Jose, CA 95148. Recently, I took my mom to this location around 3:20PM for walk-in. I signed in the computer and told to be sit and wait to be call. I am 100% sure that there is no message that they are not guaranteed to be call when I signed in. However, around 3:45pm the lady walks out when she saw couple people walk-in. She announced no more walk-in. I walked up to her and ask her I was here before these people and I had been waiting for almost half hour. Even, the phlebotomist called my mom's name, but she won't let my mom in. She said only take appointment and no more walk-in. It is not 4:00pm yet and there is only one person with appointment before my mom but she won't allow my mom in. I was so mad and asked her to speak with the supervisor. She said "she is supervisor. Her name is Kristina." I asked her what is her last name, but she won't ask me. I don't know what kind of altitude and service is she? It is pretty bad service. I wasted my time for nothing. I will not bring my mom to this place anymore. I hope someone will look into this and make some chance. Otherwise, the business will going down for sure. Because no one want to come here anymore. Thanks

Bad customer service. You can only contact their 800# instead of being able to speak with the actual location so hold time is 30 mins minimum. Customer service dept rushes you through the call and disconnected call when asked if I could take a surgery regarding the call. Rep was not clear on resolution of issue and had to be asked several times how they will be resolving the concern, which led to rep being rude

I made appointment for the first visit in the AM. I waited as people arrived after me with later appointments and were called in right away. This is totally unacceptable. I delay morning meds. Glucose
Testing you have to fast.

You continue to bill me for something that is covered by insurance. This has happened multiple times. I work full time and cannot continue to hold on .....

Hilda who drew my blood today 10/25 at Todt Hill office on Staten Island was kind and nice and it did not hurt At All. I'd like her to always do my blood. She got me in and settled very quickly, and was so organized. Thank you Hilda!

The young lady who drew my blood her name is Johanna and she did a magnificent job with me, she kept me from thinking about the needle and kept me laughing and before I knew it it was done.you need to keep people like her on your staff.

Alyssa In La Mesa Is Perfect In Every Way. She's Good At Phlibotomy And She Was Very Pleasant,patient,proffessional And Helpful. I Was To Call The Office And Give My Medicare Card Number Because I Didn't Have It With Me When I Was There. It's Was Hard To Get In Touch With The Office But Alyssa Called Me And I Was Then Able To Give Her My Medicare Card Number And Use My Medi-medi Insurance. She Is Truley An Asset.

Every time I try to go on the we. Site and change my password-they send me a code . When I put the code in-it says it doesn't work. I keep trying even after multiple attempts and being locked after -I still can't access my info

Quest has the worst customer servie I have ever dealt with, starting with online if if oyu don't pay your (never stated, BTW) balance, we will send yoy a paper bill; to making ikit impossible to pay online with any cards; hang ups, routing tol the COVID test results wait line, just to start. I stopped using Quest a while ago and did only this time out of carelessness. So frustrated at every level. Run far, run fast.

Quest is not assisting in the protection of my medical records.
They are allowing for results to be reported when proper chain of custody has been broken

I went to the Quest Laboratory on 2/16/22 for a blood test my doctor ordered. I asked the technician was I in the right place for blood work. She looked at me and didn't say a word. I again asked her was this Quest Laboratory? She again looked at me and then finally said, *Miss, sit down". I sat down and then another technician came out and asked me if I had signed in. I told her no one told me I had to sign in. She said to sign in, after other people had come in and done so. I signed in and sat down. The first technician called a person that had come in after me to get their blood drawn. I was finally called in by the technician who had told me to sign in. She was polite and supportive. She took my blood and I then left. Sorry, I didn't get the name of the first technician who had a negative and mean disposition but I can identify her if I see her again. Now, I have not received my blood test results that my doctor ordered. What happened to my results??? Please advise. Thanks

Quest has been sending me emails to pay a bill. I don't know what the bill is for or the dates and I don't do online. This is ridiculous! Finally I was able to request a paper copy in the mail so now I know what the bill is for and when. I now had to google how to contact a live person from Quest since the bill gives a phone # that is not a live person. This takes way too long. Anyway, when I went to pay my bill on the phone for the amount listed on my paper bill, the computer voice says I owe over $2700, and my paper bill says I owe #30.00! What in the world is this? Crazy, I say. I will not be using Quest anymore unless you are the last company for me to use!!!

I would LOVE for Quest labs in Massachusetts to work with Mass General Brigham hospital and their Epic system to EASILY share test results! What a pain it is right now; the lab workers complain about how much time it takes when they draw blood to add each test by hand. Then, my doctors can't find my results AND/OR I have to upload them to the patient portal. I would LIKE to use Quest since I don't want to drive an hour into Boston but after this last blood draw, I'll have to drive to a MassGenBrigham site. Please, please, PLEASE, work together!

This is unbelievable. Service is horrible. "call back later" is NOT an answer. I have not received a text regarding how to reach anyone at Quest.
I cannot rate your company LOW ENOUGH.

I visited Quest Diagnostics this morning 10/15 in 1090 E Stanley Blvd Livermore. At the Reception was a Gentleman named Johnson and the Lady who did Blood Test for me named Molini ,were so nice and kind to me and others.I just want to Appreciate both of them

While I like the pricing at Quest, they are the WORST at being able to reach customer service. BRING BACK THE DETAILED CHARGES ON A BILL! Or at the very least, set up a way you can opt to have them emailed to you. I'm so beyond frustrated with them.

Quest has the worst customer service of any business I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately, in the community where I live it is the only lab in my network. The website does not work for making appointments. The website doesn't work for much of anything. Billing service is beyond belief for service. I have bank records of payments made and checks clearing my bank yet I keep getting bills. When I finally was able to talk to a real person I was told the problem was taken care of. I had in fact been over billed and would receive a check. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Some creative customer service person dreamed up a way to finish the call. Sending a message via the contact on the website---no response. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Discussing with my insurance provider and Medicare. Friendliness and knowledge on survey below does not apply when the customer service rep is automated.

Cannot update my insurance after receiving an email about a bill I owe. The bill cannot be accessed by me so I don't know the lab code or number. Tried chat, stated my circumstances, but answer was so generic it did not help. I tried calling the customer service line and what a joke. I waited one hour on day one before hanging up, frustrated; day two three hours, and today, the number disconnected fives times. TERRIBLE !! You certainly failed in your customer service. My bill remains unpaid and I have insurance, but cannot update my account.
