I have been a customer of td bank for three years. My service has been great....my only disappoint is that the branch at fresh pond rd. And metropolitan ave...tellers do not greet most people. No welcome, no hello, no thank you, no have a nice day, unless the customer greets first. I live nearby and had conversations with nearby clients and they most agree...I hope that the next time I go there to bank
for once would like to be greeted appropiately.

A very TERRIBLE bank. I urge everyone to support local credit unions instead of these banks who treat us like trash. Its worse for senior citizens. They are belligerent talk down to you ( especially the men speaking to us females), robotically repeat themselves and NEVER LISTEN.
I am sure they are not recorded., I spoke to ARUN ID 63113 today about a refund a merchant claimed they gave. The merchant gave me a transaction number. I asked him to check it. He was not interested and just kept repeating that a dispute took 45 days. I told him the merchant claims they paid the money back and gave me a transaction authorization code for the bank to check, he refused. ( mind you I wait 18 minutes for him to come to the phone as a supposed supervisor but he sounded just like the guy i had just spoke with).

I doubt TD bank actually monitors or records their customer service reps. They pretend to call a rep, but what they do is punish you for asking by making you wait upwards of half hour hoping you will hang up. Then the same person comes back to you pretending they are the manager, or gets another rep to pretend.

Let's get some personal service with our CREDIT UNIONS instead of these indifferent automated customer reps that feel we are just dirt. TD BANK SUCKS, ITS CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS, it plays bait and switch with cards and accounts, makes them free and then insidiously changes the terms and add fees that clean out your fixed income before you catch onto what they aredoign.

I completely agree. I hadn't used the account in a year and just got a letter that the account is overdrafted. They were charging me fees for not having enough money in the account (I was never informed that I needed a minimum) and then charged overdraft fees on top of that. Of course that waited to send the letter until a couple of months of fees were charged. They wouldn't give me any info over the phone because I couldn't tell them what my last deposit was a year ago! Awful bank. They make is look like they cater to the everyday person when they prey on them!

"TD BANK IS THE WORST BANK IN THE WORLD"!!!!They send the largest amount threw first then the smallest.Therefore the largest amount will take all your money and when the smallest amount come threw, they pay it but guess what charge you $35 fee per transaction.THIS BANK IS GETTING RICH but im trying to get a class action lawsuit!!

I deposite $140CASH into the atm on the 18th,then deposit $120 on the 19th total $260 CASH!!!!they held my cash deposit for 2days therefore every transaction that came through was paid but they charge me $35 for every one even though the cash was their!the atm printed me out AN RECEIPT FOR THE CASH THAT I DEPOSITED.If they have not held all my CASH monies i wouldnt have any fees.They said they release a $100 but thats a LIE!!I called and talk to several managers and all they would say its "NOT A BANK ERROR".IM LOOKING FOR AN ATTORNEY RIGHT NOW TO LOOK AT THIS FOR ME.IM GOING TO TRY MY BEST TO SUE THEM.TD BANK is out for themselves and dont care anything about their customers.

I need your help... I was charged $200 in overdraft fees. Customer Service denied me a reimbursement of $175. Money was in my account and I made one purchase which should of been $35 or even $75. dollor fee but I was charged 6 times. I have no funds to pay my babysitter.

Have their credit card and its the worst customer service. Got so bad I canceled the card cause I just could not take dealing with them. Look for another bank

I haveachecking Account with yourBank, I am requesting to get my TAX Papar, I called last week, operator told me will receive it by the end of the month. still I am awaiting, I called to night and waited for more than 10 minutes when operator answear she told me I can not hear you !!!?? dial again I dialed again the same thin it is a game not to answear customer. i am so disapointed with your customer service.

Very , very poor service in the bank & especially over the phone!!i called to ask about credit limit change for my son who has an extension of mine..after answering to several questions, he was very impatient & was raising his voice already! If we ask questions, that means we dont know the answers that's why u are there! But he made me feel like Im stupid & ignorant with the way he talked to me(" i already answered your question, what part of it do u not understand??).. I asked him too," how do we do that( referring to the process of changing the account) , abd he answered in a SARCASTIC voice," on the phone?!"...... I have a lot of investments in this bank so u should value us, your customers!!! I wish I got the name of this guy so he can be fired!! Shame on you!! To anyone who from TD visa who can read this, re-play the call I made an hour ago. Today is Nov. 2,2012 at 8:37 pm. That guy should be fired!!!

I will never do business with TD Bank. I am in the process of selling a condo in Myrtle Beach and it has been over a month and I still don't have a closing date. I have been told that an appraisal has been ordered but no one has contacted me to do an appraisal so I called the company that I was told had the order to do an appraisal and they told me that they didn't have anything from TD Bank to do the appraisal. Everything has been in for almost 2 weeks except the appraisal and they are just dragging their feet, telling lies, to justify the amount of time it is taking them to close. Also no attorney has been contacted so that will take more time. The buyer is a customer of TD Bank, not me and I will never be a customer. They are the worst excuse for a bank ever!!!

Spoke with many of the staff while questioning about my account. The last employee of the day, David Day needs to find a different job. Rude, made you feel like like a terrible person and really didn't care what we had to say. It basically was his way or in of conversation. It I had it my way I would like to have a review with this employee and his supervisor in hopes a lesson would be learned.

Deborah I feel your pain. I too have had the same problem in the past and now confronted with someone accessing my account to shop in another state and was not notified of these suspicious transactions. Now I too am fighting to have this money replaced and have the overdraft fees waived as well. UGH! This is the worst service I have every had to deal with as far as a banking institution. I took have warned my friends and family about this and urging them to close their accounts at TD and open elsewhere.

I want you to know that I think you have the worst customer service and the way of doing business of any bank I have ever been affiliated with. I am a normal working person and evey time my account gets below $50.00, it notoriously has something show up and over draft my account. Or I will have several small items that will be pending and then a larger check will post and it will post according to staff before the pending smaller ones because it is a Hard Post as they call it, and then I get to pay overdraft charges on all of the smaller items. This practice is not right!!! Today for example I checked my account and according to my History, a check for $257.00 cleared leaving a balance of 16.71. The an item that was pending came out afterward and left a -0.28 cent balance. Not to mention my
pay roll check for $1148.84 hit at midnight at the same time. Then this afternoon when I check the account, the history sceen is still the same, but now pending is a returned check for $257.00, a thirty five dollar overdraft charge added, and the only explanation I can get is that my screen is not correct and that the 16.99 actually posted first, even though my history shows differently,and now I get to pay you $35.00 and then the company another $30.00 for a check being returned!! Made my day!!!!! I will be closing my account, and my childrens and anybody else I can convince to move because your practices are not correct and no one can seem to give the same answer to a question twice to know how to control the account!!!!!!
